goDog Checkers Dinos Bruto Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology - Purple, Large

Our Australian Cattle dog (7 months old) loves to chew. The left most photo is the almost-empty shell after three days (she still loves it), the right most photo is but two hours after she first started working on it. The ones in-between are the days between.On the other hand, the "GoDog Skinny Dragons Blue Large Toy with Chew Guard" is much more durable even though she loves it as much: three days and only the product labels were torn off. I don't know why the difference: perhaps the furriness of the skinny dragon makes it harder for her teeth to catch on? (The purple dinosaur has bumps in the material that may make it easier to tear?)

I'm not sure what to say about this toy. Rocky (my dog) loves it but after a few weeks it's been torn apart. If my dog was simply a chewer I think the dino would have held up but my dog likes to rip. He holds the stuffed animal down with one paw and pulls with his teeth. I can't say anything bad about this toy because it does state it is tough enough to withstand chewers but says nothing about rippers, because of this I hate to give the toy 1-star so I gave it 3. I would have no problems giving the toy to another dog since Rocky truly loved this and it is also fun to play fetch with in the house (it spins like a football).

My dog loved this purple dinosaur toy and it surprisingly held up for weeks. He's a big chewer, almost obsessive and one of his favorite games to play with his toys is tug-of-war. This toy held up to everything, the worst abuse for weeks. No toys have lasted more than a few weeks so this falls under the topic of a good show! For the price, I think it was well worth it. Eventually Bear sat chewing on the eyes until he broke through then he pulled all of the stuffing out along with the squeaker. Death to smootchie! Time for a new toy!

Maybe this is good for average chewers, but my dog had ripped a hole and removed and demolished the squeaker within an hour. He likes cloth toys so I was looking for a tough option, this wasn’t it. This is a very cute toy and well made. Just definitely not a durable or “chew proof” toy that I was hoping for, especially with it being close to $20.

I absolutely love goDog toys, we have several of them. This brontosaurus is still new so I can't say for sure about the durability, but it is holding up well so far. My dog is not a very aggressive chewer, but does chew on his toys daily. I would not recommend this toy if your dog is an aggressive chewer, but it is a good size for medium to large dogs.

These are the most durable toys I have found and this one has really held up! My dog typically kills them in minutes!

This is one of my pitbull favorite toys. It lasts longer than most toys. He has had this toy for about a month and is still fully intact. Most toys last a day or two.

The second I got this out of the package, my dogs went NUTS!! They love it! It’s durable quality, colorful and perfect size for our large dog. However, it’s cloth so it does get dirty quickly. Other than that, I would recommend this 100%

I'm reviewing the "large" purple dinosaur...first the good: it's tough. I've had good luck with this brand and my voracious Labrador. It definitely can survive a lot of biting. The not-so-good: it's only 15" from head to tail, so it's not really large for the money. And it only has one squeaker, in the body - other toys from this brand have 3, 4 or 5.

My lab/husky had it eviscerated 20 minutes after the delivery guy left. Its fluffy guts strewn all over the living room. They claim “indestructible” but it is far from it. I started my return a half hour after I got it. Oh well.

Adorable! Its pretty strong and very well made. My under 1 year old dog chews like crazy and unfortunately the dino doesnt last long enough , for now, hopefully when she stops her major chewing phase I will definitely order again !

We have a bulldog that tends to chew through all of her toys within a couple days. She was given a goDog toy that lasted a couple months and we were amazed. I purchased a new toy for her and she managed to get through it in a couple weeks. I have tried to contact the company multiple times but they have not responded to me. It's very unfortunate considering they are making such a great product. If they don't want to send a new toy if it rips before 30 days, maybe they should remove their "Guarantee" for a replacement.

It's a great toy! This isn't for power chewers, but people who have a power chewer already know that. Regular chewers- perfect!
