Very Good signal strength. Universally accepted. I was going to get the 5g version, but not all WiFi enabled products support 5G, so why spend the extra moneyCON- You may not be able to use a three prong plug. This extender tops off right at the bottom of the top third prong. The 3 prong plug casing may need the spacing to go below the top third prong, so depending on the plug casing, you may not be able to plug in a three prong plug. Others are fine..Still worth getting.

I bought this because my PS4 download speeds were awful. I use a shared router, and it's not located in my house, so there's no way of using a wired connection to the router without drilling holes in the wall (not feasible). Hence I was stuck with WiFi. My PS4 speeds were ranging between 1Mbps and 20Mbps download (90% of the time they were around 4Mbps), and less than 5Mbps upload (sometimes in the 200-500Kbps range).I connected this WiFi extender, ran an ethernet cable from it to my PS4, and the speeds jumped to between 40Mbps-65Mbps download and around 6Mbps upload. Still not great upload speeds, but better than I was getting before (and more stable), and the download speeds are outstanding compared to previously. I took a photo of the before and after, each taken within 5 minutes of each other.I definitely recommend this to anyone trying to use a console on WiFi. Just get an ethernet cable and connect the extender to your console -- don't be stuck with WiFi!

I'm not sure if it's the extender or my WiFi signal (which it may be), but sometimes I don't get a fast connection. It did help with Ring doorbell very much, so I would recommend this extender. My son has one and recommended this to me and he loves his, so it is probably my slow internet. I would definitely recommend this seller.

I needed an extender for my upstairs and this did the trick. It was a little bit to install but otherwise not bad. After I got it connected everything worked as expected giving me the bars I needed that I didn't have when I was upstairs. I will have to see how it holds up and if it disconnects like my other extender does. I really like that it has a 12 month warranty, that is very important to me.

It works but not as I thought. I figured you just plug it in anywhere, which actually is the case, but you have to get closer to the receiver than the wifi source. So it does the job but not as I thought.

For the price I don’t think you can find a better range extender! I’m not a technical genius but form my experience the Wifi signal is decent. Expect some slow downs but it does the job nicely. If you need some extra boost in range, this is the cheapest way to go

I wasn’t able to use the product because I had purchased a Google WiFi which runs at 5G. But my technician told me that it would be a good fit for modems running at lower G (single of multiband I think he called it - I am not a computer expert).

ouldn't get it to let me download movies on the TV I needed to use it on. It did connect though. It said right on the TV that it wouldn't do it. I had to send it back. They sent me another one and it did the same thing.

Funciona bien, en la recamara de arriba batalló con la señal al estar cerrada la puerta y con este aparato me permite alargar la señal.Funciona de la siguiente manera, lo conectas a la corriente y en un lugar donde la señal sea de entre 2 y 3 barras de intensidad por lo que tenga suficiente para abastecer el aparato y si sea necesario, si el lugar donde lo pones ya tiene 4 barras de señal no será necesario el extensor.Cuando lo instalas tienes que tener ya sea la computadora o el celular a la mano para poder instalarlo.A mi me funciono en la computadora.Tienes que conectarte al WiFi que aparecerá al conectarlo a corriente (no tiene conexión a Internet) cuando te conectes a ese WiFi que te mencionan en la caja debes agregar una dirección de una página web también mencionada en la caja, de ahí podrás acceder a las redes que se encuentran dentro del rango del WiFi extender y ahí sigues los pasos, te conectas a tu red ya instalada y después le pones el nombre y contraseña a la nueva red.Una vez hecho esto deberá pasar 1 minuto y ya podrás utilizar tu nueva red.

Muy fácil de configurar, en general buen extensor WIFI ahora ya tengo señal en mi recámara donde antes no llegaba la señal por el grueso de las paredes y hasta el momento no he notado ninguna falla.

Es pequeño así que no estorba mucho, la instalación es rápida desde el celular o pc, a pesar de que este Ingles lo puedes instalar sólo ligues unos cuantos pasos y ya estás repitiendo la señal de tu módem, mis megas son de 20mb y lo puse en el 3 piso y repite la señal a 18mb así que no disminuye tanto los megabytes, no hace ningún ruido y la calidad del material es buena, lo recomiendo

Aunque al principio me costó trabajo instalarlo por medio de URL... me decidí al final por instalarlo por medio del botón WPS y es la cosa más facil de instalar... solo verifiquen que su router tenga un botón que dice WPS, precionenlo y precionen el mismo botón en el extensor de wifi y en cosa de un minuto listo ya está instalado...Una ves que lo instale la verdad es que repite la señal como si fuera el router original... me ahorre mucho dinero al comprar este repetidor ya que en mi casa que es pequeña no le pide nada a otros aparatos mucho más caros...Nota: la contraseña del repetidor siempre será (12345678)

Todos los intentos para configurarlo han fracasado:- Primero intente el quick setup mediante WPS, la luz del extender parpadea durante un tiempo y despues se apaga.- Despues intente configurar mediante el telefono, la pagina de configuracion no funciona con Chrome, tuve que usar Firefox. Segui paso a paso las instrucciones del manual, todo pareciera correcto, pero la luz del extender nunca se enciende, y al intentar conectarse al mismo dice que no tiene conexion a internet.- Por ultimo desde la PC, pasa exactamente lo mismo que desde el telefono.Contactare al vendedor y esperare un par de dias para ver si se puede solucionar, de lo contrario solicitare la devolucion.
