Fresh tempeh - 7oz (Pack of 6)

I have been using regular Tempeh from the major supermarkets, but I didn’t know what good Tempeh was like until I went to Indonesia recently. It was amazing. Tempeh was invented there, and it is much better than in the west. This is the tempeh that I had in Indonesia. It’s light and fluffy and has a very agreeable soft neutral flavor. You can do all kinds of things with it; it is the Tempe that you want!

They didn't bother delivering it to my door. Instead they dropped it of at a pick up spot. I had to call fed ex and complain. And have them go back and get it and bring it to my door.When it clearly states in my amazon account to drop of at my residence. By the time I got it the vacuum seals had swelled and it smelled funny. The things they used to keep it cold were not large enough and were pure water.I don't think its safe to eat. I pretty sure in the mix up they went bad they don't smell right at all

I had heard that Tempeh was bitter if purchased in the store and best if you made it yourself. I still needed to try it before I invested in making my own. The product was fresh and I would buy it again if I can find some good recipes. It was a bit too bitter for me to enjoy without all kinds of naughty sauce.

Showed up thawed told it would be delivered on Monday and showed up Saturday morning sat for 3 hours out in front of my garage not a fan of fed-ex. The Tempeh is fresh and softer than you would get in a store on a learning curve for cooking. Wish they could ship in styrofoam container like beyond burger.

I have never made Tempeh before so did not know what to expect. I looked up a simple recipe to prepare it and it is REALLY good. Almost can't tell that it is not meat.

It tastes awful and since I have never tasted it before I’m not sure how it should taste and also I don’t know how to cook it. I tried to sock it in broth but I could not eat it

This looks and tastes great. High quality tempeh product. Will order again soon.

Received the package few days ago! And keep it in the fridge! Today....Open each packet of the tempeh and I’m very disappointed! All tempeh wet and mooshiii!!! Can’t use it! Smell bad
