Quality
I purchased a device in the £10-£20 range and it was fine, then I purchased this unit and it is in a different league - it feels and handles like a superior device, the temperature readings seem more stable. I didn't get the device calibrated but it reads on average 1% less than the cheaper device and I trust this unit more for my heated floor.

Brilliant IR thermometer
This is a high quality precise tool, calibrated and performing as expected. Impressive. Have no idea why some users were complaining about it, guess had to start with user manual first..

Not for human / medical use
I ordered this for human use .. only to find it isn’t !! This was not made clear pre order.

Manual is not written accurately
I read through the manual before use. Yes, amazing. I wanted to change units from Celsius to Fahrenheit and followed the manual exactly. I then called the manufacturer for support. After going through support, I was told to send it back to the manufacturer, Testo. I spent $23.00 for shipping and was told 2 days later that the manual is not accurate and they told me over the phone how to change the units. I received the same unit back from the manufacturer and it works well but it cost me an extra $23.00.
