This is a great chew stick! I got the medium size for my 15lb dachshund pup. It's very durable, and he hasn't been able to bite any chunks off. Keeps him occupied and helps clean his teeth. So fare it seems like it will last for a long time.

This is honestly one of the best chew things I ever got for my dog, he is a heavy chewer, and he really loves it, it is the first thing he grabs plus it lasts a long time

My Shihtzus (14 pounds each dog) have had their wood for over a month and dont seem to be able to get them done with. Some areas are too big for their mouths so they prefer turkey tendons or beef bullies as these are really thick to chew. Wouldn't buy them more than once a year. I think these will last more than 3 months at the rate my girls bite on it. No splinters though, I'm pretty sure it could work best on bigger dogs.

I bought this for my 7 month old lab. He goes through a bully stick in 5-10 minutes, and a yack cheese chew in 5 days or so (just for reference). My dog loves to chew sticks and wood, to the point that it's been giving him stomach problems (I have no idea where he's been finding these things...) He's been chewing a medium sized NewHide chew for about 3 days and has hardly made a dent. He really enjoys it!The chews are exactly as represented in the picture. They appear to be made of compressed fiber, so they don't splinter at all. Definitely would recommend!

My dog was so excited for this chew when it arrived and since I purchased the wrong size and it’s too big for her we have to hold it for her but it still works really well for her to happily chew as long as someone in the house holds it for her! We will definitely be ordering another one that she can independently chew since she seems to really like and we will keep the too big one for when someone is able to hold it for her! Note to self check the size before purchasing lesson learned but still a great purchase!

My pup loves to chew on branches, sticks, pine cones. Thought this would be a nice replacement and more suitable. She'll use it but it's not her favorite chew toy. It is nice a sturdy and I don't see any signs of wear after 4 weeks.
