MOMOShadow Carbon Shift Knob

This knob has typically great MOMO quality. It is very comfortable, and the finish is flawless. It allows you to shift using either the top of the knob, or a pistol grip. It does get a bit hot when the windshield shades are left off in the AZ sun, but nowhere near as hot as a metal knob; you can still shift without burning your hand. This is the second Shadow I've owned, and while this one feels notably bigger than the one I had a few years ago (maybe it's my imagination, I'm not sure), it is still a very good fit for me.

I have owned this exact same shift knob for about 15 years and I was looking to replace it with the original shift knob that came in my Saleen mustang. When I received my order and I noticed that there were a few differences to the new knob. The item didn't say momo at the bottom of the neck and momo was stamped on the top of the knob. The carbon fiber pattern was not the same either. The picture online is exactly the knob like my original knob but this is not what I recieved. I wanted the original knob because it matched my carbon fiber dash. I wish the picture displayed was o item that I would be receiving. Don't get me wrong. The item is of very good quality but just not what I had ordered or that I was going to receive. I don't like word momo stamped on the top of the knob. It doesn't have a clean look like my original and make it look a little cheap. They should have left the word momo around the neck of the knob.

This product looks great, and feels natural in your hand for aggressive driving. I had some initial concerns about the silver logo on top of the shifter might come off with repeated use. But that worry proved to be unfounded after 6 months of use. The installation was easy. I strongly recommend this product.

I ordered this gear shift for my Mazda MX5 and it didn't fit. I was able to return it for a full refund with no problem. The customer service is "Awesome"

I wanted a MOMO carbon fiber shift knob to go with the beautiful carbon fiber accented Jet Black steering wheel I own. The picture of this product looks great but the "carbon" is actually just a vinyl sticker. The shift knob is otherwise nicely finished but definitely not carbon fiber.

More photos of the item, and the contents included in the kit would help eliminate the "pig in a poke" shopping experience. I couldn't see the logo that is actually on the top of the item-which I wish wasn't.

Let me start by saying that this was my first time ordering from amazon.service, order processing and delivery was excellent. As far as the shift knob goes it looks great in my 1990 convertible mustang and it feels good when i shift gears but is NOT real carbon fiber.so if you are looking for real carbon fiber this shift knob is not the one.
