So let me start off by saying that dabpress says it will not work with some A Frame presses, and an H Frame shop press is recommended for proper clearance. While I cannot comment on it not working on any A frame shop press, I can say it will not work on the H Frame press as it was initially intended, or atleast the h frame press I have in my possession. Included in the pics are what you may run into, my shop press hits the acorn nuts on the top of the caged plates before the plates are even fully closed. Not a big deal as I can flip the plates with the nuts facing down and get the press to work. I will go to harbor freight and take measurements of their shop presses beam to see if there could be clearance issues with that press as well.As far as functionality, this works flawlessly. The plates heat up to temp surprisingly very fast. Very nice finish on the product much nicer than previous plates I've had. Very reasonably priced, and if your lucky you can get one during a sale and get a bit off your purchase. The temperature gauge appears to be very accurate and has a separate gauge on the plate to read the plate the temp is seeing.Overall very pleased. wish it fit my h frame press as intended but with an extension of the press ram you could fix it of clearance was an issue

Great value for even and accurate heat control. The parts are machined very well snd show no flaws or rough edges. Be sure to flip to control box over and read the quick instructions on the power switches. They operate differently than the older 3x5 DIY kits.Some of the instructions are not translated well, but as long as you can figure out the Up platen and the Bottom platen, you should be fine!I knocked off two stars because the company only gives their free gifts and discounts on their website orders, not their amazon store. I wish I had know before I ordered.......I lost out on almost $100 in savings and free gifts.

I am so happy with my 3x7 caged kit. I was thinking of building one of these but I am so happy I paid a little extra to get this caged kit. Everything just works and I didn't have to spend a weekend building it and working out the bugs. Besides this thing looks awesome! Making some tasty rosin from my homegrown autoflowers

Great bang for your buck! These are the most inexpensive plates and seem to get the job done right.

These are the real deal! Heavy machined parts. They are independently heat controlled and get to temp fast. The plate space is huge. The cage opens wide enough to work comfortably. Works w my 10 tonne press. Highly recommend.

Easy to build around these plates, I had to take apart and reassemble the cage and plates with the acorn nuts facing down but was a breeze. I you can or have a frame built I definitely recommend these plates.
