Good sound, great customer service.
Speaker is easy to pair, sounds decent and durable. Had some bugs getting the EQ function to work reliably but the Manufacturer was great by offering to swap the unit out for me.

Great customer service. Good battery. Good sound. all around great speaker.
Got a call from them today. unfortunately, I was not able to take the call due to where I was at. Voicemail was a check up on how the product is fairing and if there were any questions to call them back if need be. Very nice. The Speaker itself:In short. It's good. You cannot beat what it does for the price. Nice and loud. Long battery life even at 75% volume{when first bought}. Capable of charging your phone or tablet while still using the speaker. Nice. Its sturdy design and nice heft keep it from being easily bumped off the table or any other surface{Remember to take the plastic covers off the feet. I forgot and it did like to slide around and dance of a slanted surface when the bass hit}. It can take a short drop without any major damage if dropped on the road or concrete. I will not test any big drops because, you know, I bought it and still intend to keep it nice and usable lol.It fairs really well if outside in rain or in a damp area. Never got it soaked or submerged in water or anything so I cannot tell you if it will survive a hose or dip in a pool or a tub or anything. Now Here are my concerns. The battery life is really starting to drop and I only had it for about 6 months. I already lost about 10% on the battery with the regular use I have giving it. I have never used it as a power bank and I charge it with the same Charger every time. It doesn't last a long as it used to. At about half volume I got it's rated 6-8 hrs but now it lasts only about 5 hours now. I have looked and they did change the design of the unit. Mine has circular flushed buttons instead of the square protruding buttoned ones they are selling now. Hopefully they have a better or newer battery in the newer units. I think that a 10K mAh or higher battery would definetly make the unit more appealing. I have a Mophie 20k mAh power bank I use to boost the battery when I am outside. Gives me 20+ hours when using it outside when at 75% volume. The POWAR!!!!Well. . . . not so much. It is still a loud speaker but I really do not think its rated at 60watts per channel.{Mine said upgraded to 80watts per channel.} I honestly believe it to be 30-40 watts per channel. To me and with testing with equally rated stereo's. It doesn't even compare. DON'T let that detract you from buying it. Its still good. Damn clear even at max volume. Side note. The current EQ on mine is very lackluster lol.I am hoping that I can soon get another so I can try the true stereo mode{will have to find a unit that matches mine}. Other than that, It is a good buy. I hope the new one is better sounding and last longer too.Good job on the speaker Alpatronix

Better Than Expected Bluetooth Speaker
Physical - The speaker has a solid construction and heft feeling substantial in the hand but not heavy. It feels like it would hold together if dropped although I did not intentionally test it. The strap is effective for carrying. I won't personally sling it over my shoulder and carry it as a boom box but if you do understand that the strap is not long. The buttons are large and easy to read which is a lot different from other bluetooth speakers I have used in the past. The speaker is rated for IPX5 which means it is not rated for dust but is rated to survive short exposure to water jets which is perfect for outdoors unless you drop it in water or leave it in the rain for an extended period. Overall it is excellent construction.Power - The speaker comes with a USB C cable but no charger. The power meter LED's are a nice addition helping prevent a surprise low battery. I have not timed a full charge to discharge but it is advertised at 40 hours. You have the option of using the speaker battery to charge your mobile device. This is a handy option especially if you are streaming music from your mobile device. Of course this will reduce your play time. Overall this has an excellent battery that will outlast your stamina to listen.Bluetooth - The speaker paired very quickly with my Amazon Echo device and Avantree Bluetooth transmitter. It maintained a solid connection up to ~55 feet which aligns with the stated distance of 60 feet. The speaker is NOT advertised to have APTx compatibility for low latency bluetooth communication which would allow it to be used as a TV speaker. When connected to the avantree/TV with aptx there was noticeable delay with the sound not synced confirming that it is not APTx compatible. Overall it connected quickly and performed to the advertised distance.Sound Quality - Sound quality was good in the base equalizer mode but felt 'empty' without it. You can't expect audiophile quality from a single bluetooth speaker. Since I only have the 1 speaker I cannot comment on the sound quality improvement from using it in the stereo mode. I played Magic Mike 'Drop that Bass' and at maximum volume there was no distortion from the bass. Overall it was very good for an inexpensive bluetooth speaker.Improvement Recommendations + A dedicated bluetooth pairing button would make it easier to use without having to remember to hold the plus and minus buttons at the same time. + Labeling for the LED's would provide benefit instead of trying to remember what each one means. + I experienced pairing issues when switching from the avantree back to the echo. I had to turn off the avantree before the echo would pair correctly. + Adding APTx would make this a more versatile bluetooth speaker. + Adding a USB charger to the product would make sense to prevent the consumer from having to find a charger with the appropriate AMP rating. + Improving the IP rating to IPX6 would allow the consumer to feel confident taking it on a boat or using it poolside without worrying about it accidently dropping into the water.
