Get a toilet seat that includes a built in potty instead
Good product. Sturdier than it looks but I feel like a step stool to a regular toilet seat with a kid seat attached is probably safer. I wish I'd saved $30 and just gone for the toilet seat with the kid seat built in first (which took less time to swap out on our toilet than this step stool took to assemble). This is in the "things I could have done without" part of my potty training.Just go with this and a step stool. I think it's (1) safer/sturdier and (2) easier to clean:Elongated Toilet Seats with Built in Potty Training Seathttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FR384L6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1After reading a lot of reviews, we landed with this one. Took 5 minutes to install on our 2018 Kohler elongated toilet. Fits perfectly. The kids seat is small so he shouldn't be able to fall through. Easy to lift up and the kids seat raises with the lid. You just have to train your toddler to pull it back down - I showed him once and he's had no problems. Since my son has been closing the lid on the toilet to flush for us for over a year, this is great b/c the other products I started him with (and will mention below) didn't allow him to close the lid which frustrated him (not to mention without being able to close it he just leans over and watches it flush which is pretty gross). I really wish I'd started with this. After just a few days with it, I ordered a second one for our other toilet.

Good but a bit big for my 2 year old.
I have a 2 year old that's pretty tall but thin, so the hole is a bit big for her. She's actually a bit scared to sit all the way down or back, and to think I was scared to buy one with people's comments saying the hole was too small. I love the color because it was the only orange one on the market, which seems to be my daughter's preferred color right now. It's good quality, but the step is a bit flimsy, I personally wouldn't let an adult use the step for anything. It did come with an extra set of the orange platic bolts for the bottom but no instructions what so ever. It was pretty easy to figure out though, but even just a picture would have been nice. I just ended up zooming in on the picture they have posted for it. The foam seat part isn't a perfect fit to the seat and attached with velcro that wasn't completely stuck to either side when first opened. The legs do pivot up and down, so just have to make sure they are flat down before the children try climbing up. When using, I say it may work best with both toilet seat and lid up. I can see it working on top of the toilet seat when my daughter actually is able to sit back a bit more, otherwise if will get pee towards the front of the seat, down the sides.I'm hoping my daughter will eventually be able to use it, for now we'll make sure to keep it there until she's grown a little more.

Great value for an essential piece of equipment for potty train .
The assembly instructions were rather lacking made it a little harder than need be for assembly but once we got it together we were very happy with the sturdiness . She does have a bit of difficulty flushing the toilet after wards because we have a very cramped little bathroom but it’s easily moves off the toilet seat into the tub when a big person needs to use the toilet ! The main thing is it really gives her the confidence to use the potty . The soft seat can easily be cleaned and removed and hopefully they have a replacement seat .

Great for larger toilets
Great for larger toilets. We bought other brands that were too short. Keep the key it comes with nearby though, the bolts loosen up frequently.otherwise, I love it. My two-and-a-half-year-old can set it up and take it down all by himself.

Great potty seat.
Works great. Easy for granddaughter to climb up and use toilet. Well made and sturdy. Fits right on top of toilet seat. Easy to get together. So glad I got it for her, saves an old lady’s back. Lol

Broke before we could even use it
You definitely get what you pay for... believe me, this one isn't worth the gamble. The plastic is so thin and cheap that it cracked just putting it together. And, because the bolts that hold the steps onto the seat is where it broke, it has made this completely useless and it'll have to be thrown away. Don't waste your money.
