Great read
Highly recommend this book for anyone thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. The secret is to just go for it and deal with the bumps on the road along the way. Especially if you have no idea what you're doing. Very entertaining style of writing makes you want to know what happened next.

A MUST READ for Anyone on the Internet or with An Idea
Ever since I took the Skillshare class by Alexis Ohanian; "Making something people love" a few years back, he has been my paragon of start-up success. That class rekindled the fire inside of me that I had ever since I was little, to burning urge to create something and perfect it. So when I found that Alexis was writing Withouth Their Permission I had to pre-order the hard cover. It finally arrived in the mail yesterday; and upon receiving it, I proceeded to read it cover to cover in the next few hours. My first reaction about the book I waited a few months for, written by the guy I hold in the highest respects, is just "Wow!". He delivered, by every sense of the word.Without Their Permission: How the 21st Century will be Made no Managed, is a book about the power of the open internet. It is written in 3 parts; an introduction and background, the story of reddit and other successful startups changing the world, and the power of the internet and politics. The entire thing is well written, his story itself is quite an amazing one. His going from college student to start-up superstar is an inspiration to developers and innovators everywhere. He goes over his formula for startup success in the middle section of the book, and it had the same "go out and do it" effect that his class did.As a writer, he was very entertaining and refreshing. It was a very relaxed and sometimes jovial tone, which kept me turning the pages and wanting to read more. The entire book read like you were sitting across the table from him in a coffee shop. It delivered its message in a fun and pleasurable to read way.I would highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever had an idea or wants to pursue the American Dream via the Open Internet. It is all very sound advice and experiences that will help you map your course to success.

The story of Internet freedom
It is hard to undervalue the importance of Reddit in the digital revolution that we are witnessing right now. As it says on Mob76Outlook, Reddit is one of the Internet's arteries.Alexis Ohanian is a co-founder of Reddit and has all the grounds to write a book that tells the story of internet freedom through his personal projects and observations. This book is primarily for those who are just thinking to create a start-up and need someone prominent to tap them on the shoulder and say: you can do it boy!I've already passed that point five months ago, but even for somebody who had already started a company it is a very interesting and entertaining read. Besides of tons of start-up tips and inside advice from Y Combinator, Reddit and Hipmunk you will enjoy Alexis's thoughts about the free internet. The two versions of his graduation speech in 2025 give two scenarios making it clear that we live in an age of fighting for internet freedom even though most of us don't realize it while enjoying it.
