I purchased for decorating a cake! It was great for that. Now we have some toys for the birthday boy - I know they won't last! Great for cakes or maybe to stick in play-dough. Would not purchase for a child younger than 6 for actual play because they aren't sturdy.

I used these as props for a construction-themed cake for my grandson's adoption party. The pieces are very durable - most are metal -- and very nicely made. After the cake was gone, my grandson now has the toys to play with. They go very nicely with his Matchbox cars.

Okay toy but not the best quality.

Everything was plastic. My 12 year old grandson loves the set. He has played both inside and in the yard with it. He washes trucks after playing in the dirt. He loves that it comes in a container to keep things all together. He’s had hours of fun and mixes in his Mstchbox cars as well.

Exactly what I was looking for to make my sons construction themed sensory box. There are a ton of items. Cheaply made however enough that if some break you have plenty of back up items.

It's neat in concept with all the signage, however, the trucks and crane all broke within moments of taking them out of the packaging. I have a five year old, appropriate for his age, and he was being gentle with them while I was helping take them out and they would just break with not much force. Thin, cheap, plastic. Not worth the price.

This toy set is cheaper than a fast food toy. If you want them for a birthday party favor or cake topper they are great, but you cannot actually play with a lot of the pieces. They break or do not move like you would think they do. The pieces that break are a choking hazard (which I am sure they stated on the package).
