New 170W 20V 8.5A Power AC Charger Replace for Lenovo Thinkpad P50 P51 P70 P71 W540 W541 E440 E450 E555 S431 Legion Y720 4X20E50574 ADL170NLC2A Laptop

I have a Lenovo P50 with Xeon processor, recently left my laptop charger in a hotel at another state, purchased a replacement at Best Buy but it was not powerful enough and unless I powered down the computer and let it charge it would eventually die by mid day even while plugged into the replacement adapter (90 watt). This adapter was listed at 170 watts which is equal to the factory laptop charger, and indeed it works just fine. So far I've been using it all week without issue, battery stayed charged all day.The factory charger is more aesthetically pleasing, but this one isn't bad... little bit bigger. Definitely worth the price to have a working computer all day.

I was looking for a second AC charger for my Lenovo LEGION Y7000, to have one in my travel bag. I'd have preferred a lighter one than the original. This is heavier, so I swapped it out with the original as my daily charger. So far, so good.The laptop needs 20w and 8.5 amps, so most alternative chargers weren't up to the task. This one has a longer cord than the original, which would have been nice if it became my travel charger. Oh well. Time will tell how it holds up, but for now I'm satisfied.

I bought this as I left my charger in an office I don't visit frequently in another state so I needed a temporary replacement. With cheaper chargers, you are guaranteed to get an item that won't last a long time, but that's factored into the price. The charger I bought works as described, but it definitely feels lighter and cheaper than my Lenovo charger. If it works for a few months, then I'll be more than pleased with it. Shipped quickly and looks like it does in the pictures.

I bought this charger when my original Lenovo charger failed. I plugged the charger into the wall and the green light appears on the power brick but the charge light on the port of my laptop does not light and the battery shows on discharge. Put another Lenovo 170W, 20V, 8.5A charger on my laptop and the battery charges. Returning this for refund.

Used this product with my Lenovo P70 after my original charger failed. Worked great out of the box when I got it in February, but then spontaneously began to fail in early May. I did not expect it to work as well as it did for the price, so I consider myself satisfied; regardless, be warned that this charger does not appear to be a permanent fix.

Great price and speedy delivery. Causes static on the radio when plugged in (not enough shielding?) and a bit bulky and heavy but not a problem for me since I just wanted an extra to keep at the shop and not have to carry one around. Overall happy.

After plugging this charger in, my headphone will become extremely buzzy. I bought another lenovo certified charger, then the problem's solved. If you don't wan't a buzzing headphone while charging, I suggest you spend the extra 30$ and buy a lenovo charger.

For a charger that is 1/3 or less than the price of an actual Lenovo it is well worth the money.Left my original in a hotel room so I needed one ASAP. Delivery was quick, product works well, it is slightly bigger than the original but works very well
