This shampoo is great for older hair. Keeps my hair so soft and in great condition...couldn't do without it

I first bought this product several years ago. It worked brilliantly. BUT my latest purchase in March 2024 shows that the latest version is totally different to the earlier shampoos, in that :It looks more like a conditioner (it’s a grimy brown almost transparent colour, as opposed to the rich creamy colour and texture it used to be).It doesn’t smell even vaguely like the original version and, more importantly, it doesn’t work anywhere near as well.I contacted Schwartzkopf asking if they were still making this BC shampoo. The reply was, “ the BC Bonacure care range was re-formulated and re-launched March 2022, and is now referred to as BC Bonacure Clean Performance, the ‘latest’ technology means the products are now free-from sulfates, silicones, parabens, mineral oils, microplastics and artificial colourants, and are suitable for vegan use.”That’s fine, but it doesn’t explain the totally different consistency, colour and (non)efficiency.I’ve tried a number of different, some expensive, options (from different manufacturers), but they don’t work as perfectly as the original BC.And the consequence is …. that I don’t know if it’s this particular supplier, or Schwarzkopf who are to blame for the disappointment.
