Milk Chocolate Sponge Candy

The best sponge candy I have ever tasted. Perfect texture, super fresh with great chocolate outside.

Really good candy. I had been looking for a good sponge candy. The milk chocolate is so creamy and delicious (and I am a real chocolate lover!)

WOW! What a product! Delivered a day early. Carefully packaged within bubble wrap. The box sealed in plastic wrap, open the box and the deliciousness sealed again to ensure freshness! The candy was SO fresh - melt in your mouth freshness! So much better than a local lady shop's stale product. Now my husband has an idea what is FRESH!

The milk chocolate is excellent, very good, I can't say enough about how much I liked the milk chocolate, Creamy Smooth and Delicious. However, it fully over powered the sponge toffee. So much so that that the sponge toffee added very little flavor and texture. There was a cold pack included in the shipment that was defeated by my black mailbox sitting in 80° temperatures. So a small amount of melting, too much for a gift, but good enough for me. Will probably buy again but wait until January or February to keep from melting in southern USA heat.

PLEASE keep in mind I am reviewing this company's sponge candy based on my personal preference for sponge candy........Moving on: This was very well packaged to protect the candy from melting and delivered much faster than expected. I prefer my sea foam candy when the pieces are not uniform in shape, this candy is extremely uniform, each piece looks the same. I prefer equality between the chocolate and the spun molasses center. The chocolate taste and quality on this candy are superb, the chocolate just overwhelms the molasses center. I also prefer my center to be crunchy, but not rock hard as some pieces can get when they lose their freshness. The center of this candy is exactly the way I like it, fresh and just the right amount of crunch, but when I took all the chocolate off on one piece, to see what the center tastes like w/o so much chocolate, I found the center had no flavor.Because the chocolate is so tasty, and the box of candy so nicely packaged, I think this would make a really nice gift for any occasion, and especially for chocolate lovers!
