I’m using mine as a master battery switch on a piece of equipment used to run incubators in a nursery full of premature babies. Before the switch the equipment caught on fire (because of an electrical short), killing all the children. Some of my clients were very upset. Now with this value priced switch we have no electrical shorts, less unexpected fires and the current batch of premature babies seem to be doing just fine

Used in a battery set up I was building. Works great and as expected. Turns off, turns on. semms strong and of good construction. Cannot rate if it is weatherproof.

Quality product very well made!! I replaced the battery cutoff switch on my Bentley Mulsanne. I was stunned to discover that the quality of this switch was superior to the original!! No plastic!!! All metal and substantially constructed. I would definitely recommend this product!!!!!👌🏿👍🏾

I put this in my race car so the battery doesn’t drain while it sits in the trailer for a month at a time. The switch has a nice positive feel. Seems very sturdy. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. 3/4” mounting hole required.

Bigger than I thought. I had bought a push button switch because the solenoid on the riding mower had apparently stuck closed and had to disconnect the battery to stop the engine turning over. I had never had this issue before and didn't know this could happen. I bought this switch as a disconnect but then decided after receiving it, that it could also be used as a starter or crank switch without fully closing it in the on position and then using it as the ignition/crank switch instead, since it also apparently has a spring /return open position. So, by doing so, I bypassed the solenoid and keyed ignition switch. The ignition switch will still be used for run and off.

While in the meantime, I've installed the battery in my '62 Willys jeep underneath the dash as the picture shows, and just to the left of the battery is the quick disconnect. Obviously it's just to shut off the 12v when the jeeps not in use. I like it.dne' of Classiccarsandtools

Awesome to have on my 2015 Transit 250 Ford. This will save some battery life. Installed under driver seat for easy access.

I have been using this for a couple of months. It is installed on a crawler/backhoe, so, it is subjected to considerable vibrations. It is working very well with no signs of damage.

I order 2 of these, One worked and the other didn't. Don't look like anyone else had this problem, must be just me. Since my review the company contacted me and replace the defective switch at no cost, That says a lot when they stand behind there parts. I would buy this again. Changing my rating to 5 stars.
