My most trusted set ever!!! These cards have never let me down..I have several decks of tarot but always use these for readings!!

I love these cards, and I've yet to find anyone who doesn't when offering a choice to friends I'm reading for. I bought them years ago, direct from the seller, who was kind enough to sign the accompanying book.The artwork is detailed, featuring realistic people and places, coloured in warm, sandy tones, reminiscent of the Egyptian desert. The cards themselves are printed on good quality cardboard - better than average, and are the perfect size for me (I've found some cards too large to handle easily). The backs of the cards feature a non-symmetrical pattern so it's obvious when cards are 'reversed/flipped'.The book, which is written in an accessible but never condescending style, provides a wealth of valuable information, with detailed interpretations of each card, making this a perfect set for beginners. Having said that, it's obvious the author knows his esoteric stuff, and seasoned tarot users will also benefit from reading.5 Stars - Highly Recommended!

If you are into ancient egypt myths and magic and the tarot do yourself a big favour and treat yourself to this set.The cards are outstandingly beautiful the book very informative and unusually it also comes with a journal.As if that is not enough the whole lot comes in a slip case so you can keep every thing together in one place.The symbolism and artwork are amazing there is so much more depth to this tarot than to many others on the market .I thoroughly recommend it to any one beginner collector or professional definately a pack to be loved respected used and to last a lifetime

If you fancy a little something different, but with good Tarot imagery like the fabulous Rider-Waiter, this is worth a try. It is colourful with clear and detailed drawings which offer much in the way of complex Tarot imagery. It doesn't cop out by simply offering four wands, for example, as some decks do; it offers some very nicely presented depictions of life events with plenty of background detail to help recall the cards' meanings. In that sense, it suprasses many of today's Tarot decks which, sadly, have no character and very little relation to the card's meaning. If you are a beginner, you will need a dweck that aids recall so this is a pretty nice one to advance to after starting on the absolute best of decks - The Rider-Waite.

I've only recently begun Tarot and as my first deck it is wonderful.I was originally drawn to the set because I am very much interested in Ancient Egypt's History and Mythology.This deck very easily falls into it and there is some astonishing links in the information with Egypt, the Tarot and the Cabbala. If you are interested in Egypt and doing, or want to do the tarot, this is a definite one for you!But the book also contains lots of information about the actual tarot cards and their interpretations, and I've found it easier to decipher than many of the other books on the market.The cards are wonderfully designed, and both the Major and Minor Arcana individually drawn. Also, as someone else stated, the symbolism in the cards associated with their meanings is brilliant.I have only done 3 or 4 readings, but they have been astonishing and the cards are very satisfying to handle and use.

As a full bloodied ROMANI and brought up in the Gypsy world of occult and mystical teachings I have used a number of packs during my lifetime (Now 82) I think that this is one of the easiest and most colourful of packs that I have come across. Anyone with knowledge of the Ancient Egyptian religion will find this a very nice pack to handle and read also the handbook is very informative and helpful to a beginner. So all you prospective tarot readers, I suggest that you try this pack learn it well and go out here and get your palm crossed with silver. Thank you Mr.Barrett for a brilliant piece of work. This was my first deck of tarot cards and I haven't purchased another since! What beautifully illustrated cards, the artwork is stunning. The book which accompanies the deck is extremely informative and the journal is an added bonus. If you only intend to buy one deck of cards and you are interested in Ancient Egypt then this is the one for you.
