Wamsutta Dream Zone 1000-Thread-Count PimaCott Queen Sheet Set in White

I was VERY disappointed with the sheets. I ordered them as a special treat for my 80th birthday gift to me. They were made in India and the top sheet was 15" shorter than a regular sheet, I couldn't tuck it in on the bottom because it would only cover me to my waist. The bottom sheet was mis-sized also, too wide for my Queen size bed. They were not very soft fabric even after I washed them twice & used fabric softener. You would think 1000 count sheets that cost that much ($278.00) would be top of the line.I have always bought Wamsutta sheets & been pleased, but I will not buy them anymore since they are made out of the USA & do not fit American beds anymore. Very unhappy with this product.Wish I could return them, but I've washed & slept on them.

I didn't check the reviews because I have several sets of Wamsutta Dream Zone 1000-ct sheets, and I've loved them all. Satiny smooth, wrinkle resistant, softer with each wash. I won't go so far as to say these are counterfeit, but if they aren't, the specs have changed — a lot. I can't believe these are pima cotton; they're thin & rough, and very wrinkly, like those plain sheets hotels use beneath a comforter. I'll rotate these with another set of the original. If, after a year, these are softer, I'll come back and update this review.

Firstly, I ordered 5 sets of this sheet and only received 2. Secondly, it is not the material it says (1000-thread-count). As I have the same original set, I was able to compare the texture and quality, the difference is notable. This sheet sets is not 1000-thread-count as it says.

Aside from a paper insert in the package, no indication of brand, thread count, type of cotton or if polyester.The card says wamsutta, but not branded, and simply from a company in India named infinity.This is not 1000 thread count. No indication of the cotton used which means shorter threads that eventually pill, and doesn’t feels like a cotton/poly blend.Steer clear.

Smooth, soft and a good weight. I would definitely purchase these again
