50 Cents a Pattern: Knitted Baby Booties: 20 On the Go projects

Patterns are adorable and easy to follow.

I've been knitting baby booties for over fifty years. I have twelve grandchildren that have blessed me with twelve great grandchildren. Along with my four children and all twenty four "off shoots", well you can just about imagine how many booties I've made ! I have been collecting pattern books over the years and been discarding and adding all of this time. The last two I bought through Amazon and both are very nice. I am going to be "firing up" my needles this weekend and will use one of the patterns in one of the books I just got.

Like everything about this book

I loved the format of this book. The various booties looked so easy to make. However, I have already discovered glaring errors in the pattern that I began with leaving me with a dread of what the other patterns hold for me. I would recommend this book only to the person unafraid of such issues.

Tried to make several different ones and they were all hard to do successfully

I have been looking for baby booties and hats patterns for beginners. If you are a beginner, this book is not for you. Cute patterns, but I wish there were photos and illustrations on how to knit and put the booties together.

Clear and precise instructions, the booties look so adorable. I can't wait to start making them. There are some for beginners, you need to read through the patterns first.
