My opinionThis is a high value product. I have had many wind proof lighters before this one. This one is my favorite so far. The lighter lights easily, just make sure no to turn the flame to low. This lighter works great for starting camp fires, searing steak, roasting marshmallows (yes, I held the lighter to a marshmallow.) , burning loose ends of rope, or just for lighting candles around the house.DescriptionThere is a knob at the bottom of the lighter, which allows for flame adjustment. There is also a switch on the side which allows you to keep the lighter lit hands free. To light the lighter there is a push button on top.Down sidesOnly one down side. The lighter lights with the push of a button, and there is no way to lock the lighter off. So if you toss this product in a bag for traveling it can potentially light itself in the bag. But how often do you toss lighters in bags? When I go camping, I just toss the lighter in my crate with the grill stuff and have no issues.

I have one major complaint about this mini blow torch. The only directions were written on the box in very poor and hard to understand English. There was nothing mentioned on what type of butane to purchase. A clerk helped me with that purchase, but I was still not sure it was correct for this device. The flame does burn strong but not consistently. I think it will still do the job but overall I was not overly impressed.

This is the first time I've used a product of this sort. I primarily got it for cooking, but it doesn't seem to burn hot enough to do much of anything to food. Maybe light a grill or a flambe or something. Also no real instructions so I had to play around with it in order to figure out how to get it to work (to be fair, it was pretty easy).

It works ok but it is a bit flimsy around the adjustment valve? You know the little lever that adjusts the size of the flame.Other than that it is fine, it serves it's purpose.

Pretty small but has a large capacity tank. Flames are hard to adjust and are too slim for what we need it for. Does make a good cig lighter.

The media could not be loaded.  Firstly, I want to say the customer service provided by the company who sold this product is excellent. The first purchase I made the product did not work properly after about a month. It took about 5 clicks each time to get the flame to light. They replaced the item “absolutely free” but unfortunately the second one began to become just as difficult to ignite.

I have the kitchen torch now for a few weeks and I am happy with it.The reason i say that is sometimes lighters leak down when stored a long time.I have had no issues. The torch is well made and easy to clean up. Smooth surfaces so no trapped mess.I like it . I also use it for heating shrink tube as well so it resides on my tool bench. I don't make Creme Brulee every day. So if you like the way it looks. Get one it works well.

It's a very good torch. I have no problems with it. It does a great job on plastic repair work that I have done. Also great for lighting cigarettes & such.
