ACCO Premium Paper Clips, Size #1, 100/Box, 10 Boxes/Pack

This is one of those first or last in a lifetime purchases we must make every now and then. The last time I bought paper clips was when I had to buy some for our office supply locker just before we went to Vietnam in 1964. Our trip was delayed until September and I had began a new adventure as a student in college. Thank you G.I. Bill. Paper clips are one of those products that people just hardly ever buy. I specifically chose ACCO simply because they have been at the top of my supply chart for years. They are as good as they appear to be and work as well today as they did at first.

How can you foul up a paper clip? It takes work but these folks succeeded and I have used this brand in my business for over FIFTY YEARS! The last time I purchased these I phoned the manufacturer to tell them I was displeased with the quality - very thin wire and they barely held pages together. I just dealt with it but this time, not only are they still thin, but many of them are not properly formed plus many of then did not even have the shiny "chrome" finish. I'm sending them back and going with Amazon item # B002W6ZVMC and would suggest you do the same.

They work great. The only improvement I would make it write the size in the description as small, extra small etc.Sizes by numbers, unless accustomed to the numbers won't tell what size to expect.

Consistent, smooth, snag free, assuredly and universally unlinked from each other, can be tossed about and dumped out without tangling - these are truly the iron horse of paper clips! And, with a range of sizes to choose from (plus the anti-skid for those of you who simply cannot bear the risk that a clip might slide at an unfortunate moment), these bad boys are just the ticket for all your paper management needs.

I am a writer of both nonfiction and historical fiction, both of which require a lot of research, and I am also a cook/baker and create my own recipes which also requires research. I print out a lot material and I keep things separated by using paperclips so the price for this small stock of paperclips was great and I'll be in stock for a while, so one less thing I'll worry about running out of!

Based on the price I foolishly believed this was 10 boxes of 100 paperclips, not one box of 100. I should have paid more attention to the description, but they are paperclips! This item is readily available for less than $1 at any office supply house. Costco.com has the exact same item in 10 box packages for less than this one box cost! This item was included in an order because it was convenient - it is an excellent lesson and I will now make it a policy to ALWAYS read the description before ordering. DON'T BE FOOLED - THIS IS ONE LITTLE BOX OF PAPERCLIPS FOR A HUGELY INFLATED PRICE.
