Speed Bump: Cartoons for Idea People (1) (Speed Bump series)

Mr Coverly, I'm going to send a letter to Santa (yeah I know it's August, I don't care) asking for a thick book containing ALL your strips IN COLOR. I am willing to pay more than I dare to say (I hope your publisher isn't listening, though at the same time I hope they are). Pretty please with sugar on top?

I love Dave's sense of humor. I've met the author/artist. His daughter played volleyball with mine. He is a lot of fun to talk to.

My 12 year old grandson LOVES this book. Some of the humor is geared more for adults, but overall, a very fun book, even for a youngster. I've read much of it with him and the humor and drawings are great.

Speed Bump is the only cartoon I read now. It's as good as The Far Side. The New Yorker magazine cartoonists have got nothing on Dave Coverly. Funny, funny stuff.

Speed Bump is a worthy successor to The Far Side. Coverly's humor is often sly, often punny and always funny.

Hilarious, keep you laughing

It has been a long time since I've read a cartoon book that is laugh out loud funny. Dave Coverly's quirky sense of humor and drawing skills combine to create a book that is hard to put down until you have read every one of the cartoons. In fact I didn't put it down until I had completed it and had to keep sharing individual cartoons with others as I went along. A joy to read and sure to put a smile on your face, Speed Bump is highly recommended humor.
