This thing is a rock. Very heavy duty, no welds, so seams, just a big bold solid fid.Just what I needed.I love it.Now, get me a bunch of rope to put eyes to.....UPDATE: I just learned a new and exciting trick. For a lot less money, and a saw, you can buy something like this:Lion Brand Yarn 400-5-3501 Scarf Knitting Needlesin any width desired, and bam, Fid.Too late for me, but you can save money.....True, the needles are plastic, but I think would suffice.
