If you want a good, quality pen that will last and isn't crazy expensive, then this Fisher Zero Gravity Space Pen is the way to go. I've owned many Fisher Space Pens over the years and have loved them all. I've given many as gifts and the recipients love them too. My girlfriend saw me writing the other day with the chrome Fisher X-750 and she tried it and loved it. Needless to say, that will be the last time I'll ever see that pen.This particular Zero Gravity model is retractable, all black in color, has a black clip, is a tad under five and a half inches long, has a nice texture to it, has more girth than your normal pen and comes with black ink. It also comes in a nice, plastic, flip-top box that you can store it in when you're not using it. The slightly larger girth of the pen makes it more comfortable and easier to handle in a larger hand. As well, the texture of the pen helps keep your hand from sliding down the pen when you've been writing for a little while and your hand is a little sweaty.Like all Fisher Space Pens, this pen's ink is pressurized and thus can continually write upside down, it writes very smoothly, it can write in extreme cold or extreme heat, it will write on glossy or waxy paper when other pens will not, and if you should ever find yourself in space, it will write there too. If you don't like the standard black ink, then you can easily purchase a blue ink refill for this pen right here on Amazon. All in all, definitely a five-star pen.

I’m a fan of fisher space pens because they’re so durable and reliable . This one is also reliable writing as soon as pen hits paper. Most fisher pens are made of metal as is this one. What separates this one from other fisher pens is the rubberized shaft which makes it very comfortable. It feels super stable in hand if that makes any sense. It also has a wider shaft than most fisher pens which makes it feel bigger.Because of the price point it’s not my favorite fisher. Losing this pen is losing (at least) 20 bucks which I’d rather not do. Nevertheless I find myself reaching for it often because it looks great is reliable and is a comfortable pen to write with.It is also rugged and reliable. I have, on two occasions, mistakenly put this pen in the laundry and it didn’t ruin clothes by bursting but continued to write without a flaw.It’s a very attractive pen in an understated way so you should be careful when in public places or you may “lose it” in someone’s pocket.Please click “helpful” if this review was. Absolutely the best. I wear a uniform and put pens through hell. Generally I have found the Space Pens to write the best, but not all of them are created equal in terms of their durability. Fisher makes a less expensive line of MIL-SPEC flat black clicker pens. They are okay, but eventually the clip will catch on something and bend, or they will come apart in my pen pocket. That's annoying. They make some others, but I really dislike having to pull off a top or unscrew something in order to take a note. This one clicks solidly and satisfyingly in place the way a good ballpoint should. It's tough, solid and feels right. Trust me when I say to buy it for the clicker alone. The grip is a bit thicker than most other pens and it has a rubber coating on the barrel, but I like that. I've owned a ton of those"tactical" pens. You know, cool guy stuff that doubles as a Kubaton or glass breaker or some other Hollywood nonsense. Can't say as I've ever actually needed to use my pen as a submission tool. I do write - all the time. This is the only one that really works as a practical writing implement. In a pinch, could I jam it into somebody's eyeball if I needed to? Sure, if that kind of thing floats your boat, then this'll do.

Space pens are great -- they write anywhere, at any angle, and in any conditions. Of course that ability comes from the Fisher cartridge inside, which is common to pretty much the whole Fisher product line. That is to say, any Fisher Space Pen will write really well, even in extreme conditions.So definitely buy a Fisher pen. And, as far as Fisher pens go, this is the only one that is big and rubbery. If you like that in a pen, then this is the one to get. If you don't like big clunky pens, then stick with the more traditional products.For me, I am on my third "Zero Gravity" pen. (What can I say? Pens belong to the universe...) The first one was the greatest pen I've ever owned. It was heavy, it had a nice smooth plunger to extend and retract the pen, and it seemed to be built like a tank. Alas, the last two Zero Gravity pens I've owned haven't been as tight -- it seems like the plungers have more play in them then the older one did, and the front end tends to unscrew themselves more easily.That said, I still love the pen. It has that magical Fisher cartridge, and I can write for hours with this big rubberized beast.

It feels good in the hand and is well made. I’ll buy another one.

I bought my first pen at the Orlando airport while waiting for my flight. I absolutely love space, astronomy, all of it. So, this pen beckoned to me and I had to have it. For years and years, loved using it. I do have Rite in the Rain pens but love this pen so much more. The smooth writing, any angle, ect.Then, a month ago, someone playing around with the pen accidently unscrewed the tip, tiny inner parts scattered. There were only a few parts but since I wasn't there when it happened, it ended up being impossible for me to find the last needed piece the next day (when I was told what happened). So, after a few weeks of crawling on the floor in search of that last missing piece, finally gave up and hunted for the pen on Amazon. I was so excited when I found it on this website! Ordered it, arrived, and this one works just as well as the one I bought in Orlando. LOVE THIS PEN!

Als Gießereileiter nutze ich den Stift täglich in teils extrem verstaubter Umgebung. Der Stift schreibt einfach immer, solang die Mine gefüllt ist.Die äußeren Abnutzungen dürfen nach dieser Zeit auch langsam auftreten.Sollte er kaputt gehen, werde ich umgehend den gleiche wieder bestellen.

Léger, tenue facile, beau design, écrit superbement, même la pointe vers le haut. Un bon achat, et un magnifique cadeau à offrir.Ligth, easy to hold in had, nice design, write smootly, enven head up. Good buy and a very good idea for a gift.

The Pen that went to The Moon

After 4 months... not at all happy... the plating is coming off the pen that too I am not traveling anywhere this happened with normal wear and tear at my office only. I would not recommend you buy this after spending so much & then see the plating coming off 🙄Wow, I just got delivery of this pen today, its just beautiful. This is my second Fisher space pen and I'm very happy with this one too...

Purchased this for my husband who has to write on walls for charting at work. The first pen unfortunately stopped writing after a couple of weeks. I contacted AMAZON and within a few days he had a new one. So far the 2nd pen has been working perfectly and he really likes it.
