Sutras sound great but commentary narration is offputting
I agree with the previous review. I hoped having my audio copy would enhance and illuminate reading the book at the same time. While the Sanskrit sutras and translations by Dr. Jayashree and Indunil Peiris were very beautifully done, the audio commentary by Rev. Swartz spoiled my listening. His intonation of examples of how we may think, sounded childish and took away from the meaning of the translation by Sri Swami Satchidananda. I am perplexed as to why he was the choice to narrate the commentary.

MP3 Audio File is NOT complete.
This MP3 file is horrible.. the Sutra's are cut off and on a lot of them the commentary is cut off before the text is completed - I know because I have the book and bought this so I could listen to it on my way to work. They should be ashamed of this product it is horrible. I am going to have to read the book now as I can rely on this to be a complete/accurate version.

i really enjoyed hearing the sutras and then reading them
Sometimes the voice of the reader can make or break your listening....regardless of much you may really wish to hear the story. This isn't one of them. i really enjoyed hearing the sutras and then reading them. I found the chanting (?) of each sutra quite beautiful.
