It looks and feels like a cashmere scarf from a big name department store. It’s luxurious and I can’t believe how nice this feels but it’s cheap enough so that I can toss it on chairs or wherever and not be overly precious with it. I’m buying another to keep with my work bag! Ivory is like a very wearable white and less like a warm light cream color.

Soft and cosy.

I got it specific for church. I joined the choir, and I didn't have any pink scarf. I know for the Catholic church The priest use it and it is a special color worn only twice during the liturgical year. It represents a time of joy amid a period of penance and prayer. I only have 3 days since I needed for the third Sunday of Advent, I you can't beat two-day shipping. Now I used it regularly when it's cold outside.

This shawl/scarf was definitely a help for late fall wedding! It was just enough warmth without being too heavy. I expect it would do well in the spring too. I gave a 4 star rating for "light weight" because it was very substantial, not see through and thick enough. It came in a good selection of colors. I would definitely recommend, buy as gifts, and purchase another in different color.
