The bowls were beautiful but half were broken

I call these "chili bowls", and they are very nice. They arrived today in perfect condition, and the sticky labels on the bottoms of the bowls were easy to remove, after which I washed them in this dishwasher. I use them primarily in the microwave to heat frozen vegetables like corn, green peas, and lima beans, which I usually microwave for five minutes. The bowl gets hot to the touch, so be careful. I use a "bar mop" towel or doubled paper towels to get the bowl out of the microwave and then let it sit for a while to cool. They are a convenient size, which is the primary reason I like them. I don't consider them to be bakeware, but sometimes I use them when the oven is in broiler mode to toast shredded cheese on thing like chili and French onion soup, but there are other "bowls" for this that have handles, although I don't have any and have no idea whether they get hot when microwaving. I think the handled bowls are bakeware.

We wanted to try a recipe for French onion soup & wanted the perfect bowls!These are the right bowls! Right size, sturdy & easy to clean!

These were a gift for someone. I was very disappointed when I opened them and bowls in both boxes were broken. I reordered and one was broken in that box. I love the bowls, but wish the company would have protected them better before shipping them.

I ordered these to use for making individual (British) meat pies. They arrived unbroken, so that was a great start! Haven’t made the pies yet but they seem like they will be sufficient for the individual pork pie/meat pies. Would also work for individual soufflés and desserts. Ramekins are decently weighted and somewhat stackable,but don’t fully nest into each other. Salt container in pics for size comparison.Update:: I used these to make beef & Guinness pies (with top & bottom crusts). They turned out great and these ramekins look small but hold a huge amount! Useful for the bird cage daily feed and water. Versatile. Fits the space and sturdy enough so the African Grey parrot can’t turn the dish upside down.

These dishes fit perfectly in our bird cage to replace the stainless steel ones that came with it. They are on the heavier side so our African Grey can't pick them up and throw them. These dishes clean easy and look great too.

I was really hoping to be the lucky one, having read all the reviews about getting this set broken. Well, it was not to be. The ramekins are actually quite nice but something HAS to be done about shipping because out of the four ramekins, one was broken. 😢 I would have kept the set and even asked if they could just replace the broken one but Amazon said I had to return the entire set. Bummer!

Just what we wanted. We had been looking for good oven-proof bowls for onion soup and Chili, and something meal sized as well. 16 ounces is perfect and so was the price. The bowls are a great weight and sturdy. They arrived well packaged and unbroken. As noted, they can be stacked, but do not nest together. Good value.

I was looking for a ramekin large enough for a dinner party serving of Guiness Beef Stew - and these were perfect. Cleaned up like a breeze afterwards too.
