These folding chairs are so beautiful and classy, unlike the metal folding chairs. They feel solid and sturdy. The cushions don't seem to be made with the best quality foam so, as people have said, they aren't the most comfortable but they're folding chairs. I don't expect too much comfort from folding chairs and these ones actually are quite comfortable in comparison. I didn't have the same difficulty opening and closing them as some have commented on. There are instructions under the seat of each chair and if you follow them, it's actually pretty easy. they aren't going to open as easily as a metal folding chair but the design is also a little bit more complicated than the metal ones. I can get them open and closed in less than a minute with only a little more effort than required for a metal one.My only issue is the caning on the back has small pieces sticking out but easy to trim so I'm not that worried. I'll definitely buy more so I have a set for parties.

The quality of the chair is great. The wood is nice and it's fairly comfortable considering that it's a folding chair. The only down side is that the chair is not easy to open and close.I struggled with it for quite a while before being able to open it up!

I have had for these chairs for the last several years and just ordered two more to increase my set. For the price they are wonderful chairs. They come out of the box ready to use and are very comfortable. The caning is nice and because the chairs are on the smaller side, I can fit more seating around my table. I will add that they're a little tricky to fold up. Considering how long I have had these chairs I still have to put some thought into how to fold and unfold them, lol.

Very attractive chairs. They almost match the 4 chairs we bought from Frontgate decades ago. However the old chairs have lovely caning that is totally intact in spite of the daily use we have given these chairs over so many years. On the new chairs we just bought, the caning feels rough and gives a slight popping sound when we lean into the back. Am worried therefore that they will not last as well as the ones we have had before. The caning looks ok but is of poor quality, unfortunately. The wooden parts of the chair are nicely finished and appear to be strong.

I needed additional chairs for upcoming parties at my house. I loved the style of these chairs in the photo and they did not disappoint! The seat seems fairly comfortable and the caning is beautifl. I ordered 4 chairs and only 1 was VERY difficult to open. I finally did get it open, so I think I'll leave it that way! Very happy with the purchase.

I like its design. Reminds me of old days. And it's foldable although i normally just leave it unfolded.
