Quality big blade for cheap
Love it! Big, Heavy, Black. No, we're not talking about my ex-girlfriend. We're talking about my new lady, the Cuma Battle Cleaver. At first I thought the handle was a poor design, but it was probably due to the fact that I was swinging a pound of steel. The handle screws loosened up shortly after I began chopping. Whatever. A dab of Loctite and it should be fine. The sheath is going to fail eventually. It's already cutting the retention strap, so you may have to hold it open to avoid running the edge over it.The belt loop is angled like the handle. That seems pointless, but it may make it more comfortable to sit down with. Also the loop isn't fitted for specific belts. The opening is 4" on the short side (remember the loop is angled like the handle) This probably won't spend much time on my belt due to the weight. I will use the leg straps to secure it to my gear. The leg straps are mostly webbing with about 2"of elastic material. I think that's a plus. When the whole strap is elastic it can be overstretched easily. leg strap buckles feel cheap. Another plus is the extra layer at the bottom of the sheath. Don't want you're knife cutting through the bottom of the sheath. There is no plastic liner inside.Cutting- It's a pound of razor sharp 5160. Yeah it cuts. It's also a workout. Makes my BK9 feel as light as a Mora. Hacked up some 4" limbs, relatively quick when compared to the BK9. Yes, it's brand new, but that weight is definitely helping. And the edge still looks brand new. Have not batoned with it yet, but I will.Pros:Heavy -Deep cuts=fewer cutsPrice -$38 as of today5160- Some will say it is superior to 1095, but it is lighter so it doesn't carry the same impact as a similar sized 1095 blade. So cuma just made a giant knife with itQuality: It's still new, but no complaints. Edge is holding up greatCons:Heavy- Forearm was burning!China - Not really a con since, if it was made anywhere else, it would be well over $100, and I wouldn't consider it. I would rather buy a higher end folding knife.Sheath - It will fail. Blade edge contacts retaining strap when removing/inserting. Soft sheath; no plastic insert.

Super heavy and sharp meat gasher!
It took me a while to pull the trigger on this blade. I'm glad I waited to do it because this version is awesome. It's is well over a pound of 5160 spring steel, super heavy which I love and it came razor sharp out the box. DO NOT DROP this blade unless you do not want your toes. 10/10.

Out preformed my expectations
This knife is very good for the money. I had a gift card so I got this for 17$ and for my money I got a good woods blade. I took it out on a 4 hour hike. I chopped batoned sliced pried and no chipping or any deformation and the big surprise was the finish. No rubbing off it looks like the day I got it the finish is awesome some kind of acid wash I think. I've taken out other blades 1095's with black epoxy coating and the finish has come off with less use then what I put this cuma cleaver through so I really like that. The G10 handle did good and it did not slip out of my sweaty hands chopping on a 90 degree day in the woods. I did take the handle off when I got the knife and degreased the hardware with break cleaner and blue loctited the screws so make sure you do that. The sheath is not good it'll work it's functional but of poor quality and will not hold up so I'm going with a kydex sheath from Cleveland kydex. If it had a high Sabre grind it would be perfect. The hollow grind is very sharp and really sticks deep in the wood almost to deep but I can live with it for 17$. All in all I got a great woods/camping blade that's very functional the thing even makes feather sticks if yours is heat treated properly it will last. for the money it's a winner

Coolest blade ever..
I really like this companies products..i bought the eda mini folding axe as well as the 3 inch pocket folder and theyre all very well made..very heavy construction..and intriguing designs. This thing is no different.. plus the fact its an extemely menacing looking weapon. When you pull it out of the sheath ..peoples eyes get wide and you get the nervous laugh. Aside from looking like something someone from Resident Evil or Silent Hill should be walking around with.. its extremely functional. Its full tang..heavy and thick as s###.. and the finish is cool as well..kind of a fatigued black finish that im sure will wear well. The angle of attack on the blade puts the weight foward..a bit like a kukri, for more chopping power. The sheath seems very well constructed as well..complete with leg straps. This is truly a multipurpose tool..a tac tool..zombie chopper..camping axe..and who know? I love this thing and you will too..get one or two..you wont regret it.

7/10
Overall, pretty sweet... but, I was hoping for a thicker blade... its not as heavy as it could be...otherwise, still worth it.7/10

Knife is SHARP!
This knife is sharp! I love the knife. The sheath leaves alot to be desired. I tried to pull some paracord through the grommets and two immediately fell out. And the sheath material has begun to unravel where the grommets were. The knife is a great value and seems well made. But the sheath I received is falling apart.

Very high quality
Easily outperforms blades 2-3x its price. This thing is the real deal. Often imitated but never duplicated. You don't need to be paying in upwards of $600 when this is every bit as good. It's the original real deal. Great balance. Holds an edge like there's no tomorrow. 100% satisfied.
