As a person who was raised with only a Christian perspective, I found this book to be very easy to understand and relate to the core understanding of our one creator, from a different and even more established belief system. Most of the book really resonated with me, and I would definitely recommend it to seekers who are trying to get a beginning understand of the upanishads. I did have trouble with section 7. Seemed a bit different from the other 8. Maybe it will become more clear the longer I meditate and think about it.

Been learning about upanishads on YouTube. Then after reading this book I know what I was reading. I can't tell you if some kind of spiritual affect was happening. But I can tell you that that just knowing about it made me happy.

One should already have some background in the Upanishads before reading through this book. But, a good book anyhow.

Ah, the essence of Sanatam Dharma, aka Hinduism. The foundational understanding of reality, self and God.The Upanishads, like the Bhagavad Gita, are the essence of Veda and all religions, in my opinion.A must have for all human beings!

i bought this book because i enjoying reading the upanishads. this book adds to my collection and more detailed description. nice book to have. highly recommend this book.

good for beginners interested in Hinduism

Writing on pages on left hand side of the book are skewed to center - there is no margin near the bindingMakes nearly impossible to comfortably read - I need to bend it so hard and hold it directly in front of my headWhole page text runs w/in a millimeter of center. Painful reading, be warned

Great summary. Simple without being too basic. I especially love how each section has one main highlighted line to point out important key notes, which creates a reading option for quickly skimming through to catch interesting points to reflect on. A summary should be just like this, as concise as possible without leaving out too much. If you're interested in reading the Upanishad’s in a summarized fashion, I recommend this one to start.

It is an interesting book and covers all upanishad in simple explanation. Recommend for basic knowledge.
