Works great. Bright with different light settings. Ended up buying a second one. Purchased for my fire helmet. Been in service for 3 months. Durability and battery life will be determined later on.

If you plan on actually having this on your helmet while in a structure fire then don't waste your time and money. The "slide release function" which was the biggest selling point is GARBAGE!! It has almost ZERO retention of the light. If you slightly brush the light if comes loose and falls out the first time you look down. Last time I checked, crawling around in an IDLH your gonna be looking at the floor a whole lot! The light itself is fairly bright and had the high/low/flash functions on them but you have to cycle through them in that order to get what you want. Also there is no memory on the last level that you had it one so you start all over each time you turn it on. Therefor is is almost useless on any of my 5.56s too. I should have spent the extra money and went with the name brand that I have always had on my helmets. I guess this one will be sitting in the kitchen drawer and relished to use when the power goes out cause that's all its good for. Id send it back but then Id be charged for the "free shipping" and it wouldn't be worth my time. This will be the first and only product that I purchase from FoxFury.

Good tough light. Thought it came with the c clamp mount but it had the bolt on type. Jason from customer service was very helpful in getting me the correct mount for it.
