Sta-RiteIndustries SNE-L 1HP Shallow Well Jet Pump

This item arrived promptly. This is the forth of this model I've had and I buy it because it has always been dependable and produces a good volume of water. Three of the items are still working well on different properties. On one I replaced the pressure switch and on another the motor start capacitor. The capacitor was simple to replace and inexpensive on Amazon (161-193uf 110/125 VAC). The pump is switchable to 110~240 VAC and one of my pumps uses 220/240. Both voltages work well but the later is supposed to be more efficient if the wiring is available.

Go with the best if you want proven reliability year after year. Easy replaced same 20+ year old original, worked effortlessly, no lost sleep with this high quality. Highly Recommend!

Our old pump began leaking from a very small hole in the cast iron housing. I was unable to seal this hole even though I tried several different types of sealants. I purchased this pump as a replacement not sure how it would work. This is the exact same pump. Installation was very easy as both the suction and discharge only required two couplings. I used the same power cord from the old pump. The shipping was very fast "ups" and the pump was very well packaged. Overall this was an excellent transaction and experience.

I had this model pump on my irrigation system. It runs 3 days per week for 5 hours each day; generally for 5 months a year. This is 20 weeks at 15 hours per week=300 hours per year; times 7 =2100 hours was the life of this pump!I bought an identical replacement because the pump was reliable for 7 years and I don't expect to out live this one. It's good enough for me!

We use this pump as part of the reverse osmosis system of salt water. We pump thousands of gallons before it needs replacement.A good pump.

Installed in place of a old same name brand pump that lasted over 10 years hope to get another 10 out of this one so far so good

perfect fit for our well. Our 2 yr old one went bad our system had a leak. We wrote to stayrite to find out why it failed and never got a response. However this seller shipped it out right away and it got here fefore the expected shipping date. Good quality product. would buy this again.

The pump works excellent for my application, the only problem that I’m dealing with now the pump leaks between the pump housing and the motor. Not something that the seller can control, it’s a quality control issue with the manufacturer. I’m going to contact the seller to see how the issue can be resolved and I will update my review.Returned pump #1 as defective and received pump #2. Pump 2 was unboxed (it had been dropped upside down and the line to the pressure switch was crushed, had I been home I would have refused the shipment) but I had to get the old pump out because it was leaking so much. I arrived home to find the pump sitting next to a destroyed box. Very poor shipping quality. I ended up plugging the line in for the pressure switch and running the pump switch to a bladder tank. On the plus side, this pump doesn’t leak. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m leaving my one star rating due to extremely poor shipping/packaging practices by the seller. The pump runs great after spending an hour repairing the damages.
