JFC Noritamago Furikake Rice Seasoning, 1.7-Ounce Jars (Pack of 4)

Tried this at my daughter's house....I love this stuff..ordered four bottles...so far I've had it on rice and popcorn!

Watch out for the shipping price. Unless you have absolutely nowhere to buy this, it's not actually worth it. The product is great and tastes delicious and very addicting, but with shipping (at least from the seller I bought from) made them more expensive than getting them from the store 20 minutes away. A+ seller and product though, just think economically.

JFC Noritomago Furikake rice seasoning is a must for all your steamed rice entrees. I regularly use this particular Furikake rice seasoning along with more that ten other Furikake rice seasoning. I love variety and having a cabinet full of rice seasonings are essential in my kitchen for all the Asian cooking I do on a daily basis. Try some now...you're sure to like it!

We were expecting this Furikake to be a product of Japan because it is advertised as Japanese rice seasoning, but in fact it is a PRODUCT of CHINA. There is no mention on the Amazon product offering page of this being a product of China. Furthermore, the furikake is objectionably sweet to taste, which is not how Japanese furikake normally tastes. The product label lists corn starch, sugar, and lactose as the 2nd through 4th items, after sesame seed, which is not consistent with the product description on the Amazon product offering page which lists sugar 4th after Sesame seed, Wheat, Dried Yolk Powder, and which does not list lactose. We would have preferred no sugar, but now see that listed on your Amazon product offering page.But what is UNACCEPTABLE is the following WARNING on the product label, which is NOT included in the Amazon product offering page:WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemical including lead and lead compounds, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.Since the item is classified as the seller as not returnable, we were not able to process an Amazon A-Z Guarantee Claim, but instead had to rely upon Amazon to act on our behalf to request a refund from the seller. Yummy. I can get a slightly better price at our local Asian store if they have it in stock but for 18 cents more prime gets it to me

It just does not taste as it should. Flavor is lacking. Big. It is not inexpensive, but cheap. For other brands, my kids would finish them in 3-4 weeks. Now, more than a month after I bought them, and only one jar has been used.
