Can a wax polisher or buffer (even if smaller) be attached to this rather than buying an extra machine? And are those sold on amazon?

Hi there. I'm afraid I don't know, but If a buffer pad can be stuck to the same head as sander pads are stuck to, then it would work but I have no experience of this.

Do parkside batteries fit

No, only Einhell Power X-change batteries will fit this product

What's the silver semi circular saw blade for?

If I remember rightly, its for removing tile grout. Quote from Einhell site, diamond segment saw blade for tile joints.

I use universal blades. The washer holds them in place no problem
