The GIANT Encyclopedia of Theme Activities for Children 2 to 5: Over 600 Favorite Activities Created by Teachers for Teachers

I own several titles in this series, but this one falls flat. Most the activities are quite bland and/or require far too much time to prep because of all the supplies. I have a 2 YO, and unfortunately most of the activities are meant for preschoolers. While they can be modified, that’s just one more extra step in a lesson book that already requires a lot. If you’re interested in this series, go with a more recently published version. I’m very happy with the math, science and “another” versions. None of which are marketed towards 2 yo, but are much more interesting and easy to use.

This is such a great resource for teachers or parents! I love that the activities are divided by topic, so if you're unit planning that makes things easy, and most of the activities use simple materials that you would have on hand. I know people use pinterest nowdays but this is just quicker and easier than sifting through the internet, and actually written by educators I have a three year old and a baby and I know that I will use this for years to come.

Love this book. It is full of great activities, very well organized which makes it easy to find things by theme or age. I bought this book for myself but now after lending it to my friends at work I made it available to everyone as a great learning resource. Five stars to this one ;)

Pages in good condition but I had to glue half the cover back on

Used this every single day when I taught preschool. I love how the activities are sorted, activities are very age appropriate and great for a teacher/parent on a budget!

Lots of great activities to encourage learning skills for toddlers. Broken into helpful chapters. I am a speech pathologist and use many of these in my sessions.

I found the activities very creatives and original. They are complets and I like the «more to do» that give you a start for a lot more activities. Very helpful this book and I strongly recommend it.
