A reorder - the best product for foundation paper piecing

I really liked this paper for my paper piecing projects! It ran through my copier smooth as butter, held up beautifully while sewing, and the best part—it tore away from my fabric cleanly and easily without any fuss. No shredding, no tugging. Just perfect results every time. If you're into foundation paper piecing, this is a total game-changer. Highly recommend!

I used this paper for my first attempt at foundation paper piecing. The paper is thin, so I was concerned about it curling as it moved through my printer. It managed to stay flat. The quilting experts say to set your stitch length to 1.5, but my Juki uses even numbers. So, I set my stitch length to 1.6 and went through the process of making my first FPP block. The paper didn't rip when I used my presser wheel to press each seam (10 of them). I was able to make clean cuts with my rotary blade. The final test was removing the paper from the back. The edge pieces came off quickly, but I had to pinch the fabric a bit to remove the paper from the center pieces. That worked out well.

I have used this product multiple times and love it. I have found that if you shorten your stitch length it will allow the paper to tear easier when you are done your project. I use 1.5 setting on my machine. Should you need to tear a seam and redo, I simply put a small piece of scotch tape over the line. I used to be too intimidated by the concept of paper piecing. Now I use it frequently, especially to use up scraps.

This is exactly what i needed for paper piecing. They tear away easily.

It's lightweight and tears easily using my Juki TL stitch length at 1. Fed through my HP LaserJet 400 with no problems at all. It's a lot like good ol' newspaper, just a bit heavier. I'm gonna try newsprint and see how it does, since it's a lot less expensive (like, 500 sheets for $16).

I really like this paper. It's easier to tear away when the quilting is done than similar papers. I've tried most papers designed for paper piecing by machine. It's also stronger than many and doesn't fall apart before I'm ready to remove it. The ink stays in this paper and never transfers to my fabric. That's a big plus as after I've gone to all the time and effort it takes to make the block, I don't want the ink bleeding into the fabrics and ruining the block. This paper is easy to see through so that when placing each piece of fabric, it is in the right place and orientation the first time thus cutting down the number of times I have to reposition the fabric. The main thing I use this paper for is foundation piecing; i.e. making the blocks that make up the quilt. I print the design directly onto the paper with my HP inject printer. The other use I've found for this paper is I print my quilting design, i.e. the design for the stitching that holds the layers together. I then pin or spay glue it to the top of the quilt sandwich and use my walking foot to to the actual stitching. The little scraps that I pull off when finished quilting are often used to number my cut fabrics when I'm cutting the pieces to approximate size so that I know, I'm putting the correct fabrics in the proper places in the block. This saves paper and reduces the amount that winds up in the land fills. This is also newsprint style paper, so most municipalities accept in in the bundle of newspapers for recycling. I just fold the scraps inside the newspaper and bundle as usual.

Para todas aquellas aficcionadas al patchwork, este papel es un gran ahorro de tiempo puesto que permite imprimir los patrones y coser encima directamente. Es ligero y no cuesta de traspasar con la aguja, tanto si se cose a mano como a máquina. Además se retira con facilidad. Ya es la segunda vez que lo compro.

Works well in ink jet and laser printers. I recommend

It very very good as foundation paper for paper piecing, but difficult if you want to transfer a pattern unless you use a printer

The foundation paper is much stronger than I expected and goes through my printer with no trouble. Very pleased
