Simple and to the point
Accidentally bought the wrong kind of bulb, but couldn't return it. Bought this to adapt it to a normal socket and it's perfect and super bright!

Really needed this adaptor cause I couldn't find a standard base light to fit the light fixture I have. Apparently they don't sell them any more. Works great! Greg

What i needed
Fit the bulb erel. It takes a seeing for the light to come on but that may be how large the LED bulp is and the power draw.

couldn't use it !!
needed socket adapter because of a poorly lamp-bulb that was thought to be E26 base. Then, turns out that "new" bulb itself was bad so, in the end, socket was not used but, otherwise, it was expected.
