Had been looking for a calcium supplement that dissolves quickly and thoroughly. And keeps a stable PH. Seachem are my favorite additives. Highly recommend them

Another great Seachem product!
This works great. It doesn't take much at all to increase the pH to the correct level so it lasts a long time. It is very was to use and can't be overdosed. It does not come with a measuring device but that's no big deal. I highly recommend this!

Can’t overdose with this product.
I have been using this product for 10 years in my reef tank. I like it better than the Reef Buffer. It does not raise the KH as much as the other

Great value when buying this size
We use R/O water for our saltwater tank which reduces the ph level. I first purchased a small jar of this buffet at our local fish stores. the price was terrible especially since this is something that we add every time we add water to the tank. Found this larger size at Amazon at a much better price. Keeps our ph at the proper level for our marine friends.

Slowly Raised pH, but Seems to Have Spiked Alkalinity
We are working hard on setting up a larger marine aquarium. First, this is a very good value for the size of Marine Buffer. A 1 kilo bottle should last most users quite a long time.I went through the instructions of dosing for a week for my 105 gallon system. We had a pH of 7.7, which was just a bit low. I didn't want to drive things out of hand, but after a week we were able to get the pH up to 7.9. pH can be a challenge to measure, so I am hopeful that there is a margin of error and that it might be in the 8.0-8.3 range. We use the Hanna testing system, which seems to be one of the more accurate on the market. I say this because we have also been watching our Alkalinity. Before using Marine Buffer (and nothing else!) the ALK was at 8.0. After a week of use, this number went up to 12.5. I did a 6-8% water change and got it down to 11.4, but am a bit concerned that this buffer PERHAPS was the culprit for such an increase in alkalinity. For some corals this may be fine, but we are setting up a fish only tank so I didn't expect nor desire this result. The positive of this was it is a relatively easy fix to get alkalinity down and this did indeed help with the pH level in the bank, so as long as you're paying attention you'll likely be fine using this in your non-reef system.
