So far, so good with this SILENT wave maker!
First time using a wave maker. I was initially turned off by the high price of the brand recommended by YouTubers. I found this one and figured I'd give it a shot. Initially, I had some problema as it kept turning off. I took it out and it ran fine in the sink for an hour so I figured it was something to do with the tank. I may have had too much particulate matter in my tank since it was a new setup.I let the filter run for a few days and reinstalled it today. It's running great now. I'm amazed that it runs silently! It creates plenty of water movement for my 75 gallon tank, and I'm happy to not need bubblers. I'm trying for a quiet tank this time around!

Quiet
Quite. Moves a bunch of water without blowing my sand everywhere. I have it turning on and off every hour with a cheap timer and it's working well.

Probably the quietest most reliable wave maker out there
I really like this wave maker. It is dead silent with good water flow. I have one in a 55 gallon tank and can't hear it at all. Practically no vibration as well. I also use it for my saltwater mixing station and have had no complaints. The magnetic wall attachment had rubber feet with three rubber bands that hold the waver maker in place and this is what eliminates 99% of the noise/vibration. Overall I highly recommend this product for any beginner aquariust.

Pricey but better than powerhead conversions.
So, With a large reef tank, I go through a lot of pumps. I have been buying powerhead conversions which replace the little spinner wheel with a propeller and cage. While better than powerheads with slots cut into the volute casing, still not great and prone to hammering when started by the reef pump controller. Whack whack 24 hours a day has to wear on the inhabitants nerves. The Hydro Koralia, while more expensive than power heads with conversions, certainly performs better. Quieter, better turbulent flow with more gentle currents. Also doesn't hammer back and forth on the propeller shaft when started. The screens clog a bit perhaps if there is ditrius floating around the tank but easy to clear. Durability also seems much better on these than powerheads. I will accumulate these gradually to keep from shocking the fish budget but well worth the money.

Works good for me
They still work they do the job like the day I bought them and I purchased them over 2 years ago just about although they increased the price on these I just ordered some 3 weeks ago thinking they were the same size as these but they weren’t not sending them back because I already opened them and figured I’ll use them till they don’t work anymore

Huge disappointment!!! Broke after 5 months
I had high hopes in this product. I purchased 2 Koralia Evolution 850 gph in March 2024 and they both have exploded just after 5 months. The front of the Cage that Holds the Rubber anti-Back Spin plug busted out. I reached out to customer support using the email address that was provided by their Facebook Admin. Support advised me to reach out to the store or online. No support information on the website and no way to contact them on Amazon so I’m stuck with two broken powerheads that vacuums the water rather than circulate my tank.

Great for straight and simple water flow. Solid mounting system and quiet operation.
Great continuous flow pump that runs very quiet. I had two of these in my 40 gallon reef. Worked like champs. The magnet mounting mechanism is solid and the pumps are mounted on an adjustable peg to point in a variety of directions. I did end up replacing these with a wave maker set up but am considering bringing one of them back in for some additional movement. Nothing wrong with these pumps just wanted to add a controllable system.Bigger than say a Jebao or MP10 but you save some bucks and granted they are not wave makers. Hydor does show these as being used with their wave maker controller but I have seen that they will click every time the speed is changed. I have seen conflicting literature that these can or cannot be used with a wake maker. Even from the manufacturer literature. If you want to use them as they are designed, I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Great Pump for a great price compared to LFS!
I had no water flow through out my aquarium setup. Upon research I have seen that Hydor is a well trusted brand, in which I believe it because I see them at all of my LFS. However, of course Amazon usually gives you the best price. As promised it came within two business days thanks to Amazon Prime. Opening the package is as normal as any other package you would open for an aquarium: setup guide, do and don'ts, warranty, and product description. The set-up guide is extremely easy to follow as a little kid should be able to set this up. When first plugging it in you will notice a tremendous amount of bubbles depending on how the product is, but from what I read, this is normal so no need to worry about that. It was gone within the next day or two. Ever since I put in the pump my fishes as been much more lively and are out now just swimming against the current, even my shy ones! Overall I am very happy with this product and plan on buying another one with a wave maker in the near future.
