Graham Bergh and his team of gifted artisans in Mosier, Oregon make an amazing range of funky household items from tons of recycled bike parts. Each month they collect 3,000 pounds of used parts, drawing from 150 shops in 17 states. The parts that still have life in them are donated to a local non-profit group that teaches bicycle repair to children, but the ones that are beyond repair are made into cool things like this bike chain bottle opener. Handmade in Oregon. Artist card included.

cool option
I like this bottle opener, I'm sure it will last if used carefully. You can trow it to your buddy but make sure you don't use tons of pry pressure. Maybe it can take it but I open with caution

This was part of my brother's christmas gifts and he really loved it. just something small and fun to give to someone that has everything and loves to bike... and open the occasional beer :)

it opens beer bottles, not sure about anything else.
I like to collect beer bottle openers. This one is unique and a bit different. It opens beer bottle, it would probably open soda bottles too, but I don't have any.

Fun present!
It was for my bicycle aficionado roommate. She loved it! It's about the size of your palm and a sturdy weight. Highly recommended.

Built to last, strong welds.
I purchased mine from a green store in Seattle, a few years back, it is the same team who made mine. The quality is good, edges are ground for safety and the welds will hold!It can also be used for protection if you use it for your key chain ;)
