Time for Bed, Sleepyheads

This was one of my favorite books as a child, so I had to buy it for my son. I absolutely LOVE the pictures in it. Sounds weird, but they are oddly comforting. All the animals are adorable, the story is cute, and all of the details within the artwork is great. My 6 year old son really enjoyed this. The premise of the book is that it is bedtime and all the forest animals are trying to round up their babies. They are bathing them, feeding them hot cocoa, etc. Adorable book.

It’s s little more used than I thought it was going to be ...

Just as fun to read at bedtime or nap time as when my daughter was little, now my grandson enjoys it with me again! As the animal babies are called in for the night, you get an interesting peak into the homes of all the woodland creatures so creatively depicted in this charming story. You also get to see all the night time routines and charming illustrations of parental affection, as well as making animaginary world come to life! This book will appeal to and cause many sleepyheads over repeated generations.

We owned this book and read it to my boys over and over again and that was back in 1989. I was so happy to find this book but the bonus was the quality and quickness of delivery. I did pay a little extra for expedited delivery, but not a lot. My youngest and his fiance are expecting in a few weeks. They had asked that people give their favorite children's books with a nice message written inside instead of cards. This was my book gift and my Son couldn't believe it. We can still recite the first couple of versus. It such a special moment!

If you don't have this book for your kids, get it!!! All of my children have loved it!!!... it was their favorite... they made me read it every night. I got it for my grandkids and they love it as well!!! They beg us to read it to them all the time. A definite winner! You won't be sorry.

This is such a nice little book for the kids to start snoozing. The illustrations even make me nice and sleepy.

This was a favorite bedtime read for my children and my daughter (now in her twenties) was remarking on how sad she was to have lost this childhood favorite so I was delighted to find it on Amazon and had it delivered straight to her, she was thrilled and the book is in superb condition and will be a treasured read for time to come. thank you.

Was not sure what to expect purchasing a used book, but the condition on these books were higher than my expectations. This was my wife's favorite book as a child, so it was nice to be able to read this to our kids now, 30 years later!

My children grew up with this bedtime story and now we have a copy that can be passed between their children.
