Underground Toys Doctor Who Master's Laser Screwdriver (Light & Sound FX)

After putting in a fresh set of batteries, I will say that I can understand some of the negative reviews of it. The truth is that I CAN get it to work, but it’s very finicky with its functionality.It will light up and sound off when it’s extended AND retracted, but you have to get the sliver switch on the grip and the tiny black button on the battery case to line up PERFECTLY or it won’t work. The emitter takes a little work to lock it into the retracted position but I can get mine to stay in fine. Basically, you have to be gentle with it to make it work.I would say that this is too fragile to be a child’s toy but as a shelf piece to hold in your hand for whenever you want, it is a very great addition to the sonic screwdriver lineup.The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is that the price is a bit high considering that some of the other sonic screwdrivers of the same price are a little more durable than this one.

I got this of few days ago and it couldn't stop extending, it didn't light up and it didn't make soundsso I got a replacement order in and it just came today... THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED! I can't believe I wasted my money on this crap!

Three times I order this in late 2019, and all three times, dead batteries. So, I returned them all. Probably old stock that they have had for years when the episodes originally aired. And, the cost of replacing the batteries is actually more than the actual toy, so it is also not worth buying it and replacing the batteries, as you will pay for 2 1/2 of these to get one to work.

I’m only giving it 2 stars because when I received it, it didn’t light up or make sounds. Under closer examination, one of the batteries had leaked (takes LR44 batteries incase anyone needs it). With a couple of cotton swabs and some vinegar, I was able to carefully clean the battery gunk off and once the new batteries were in, it worked.

Bought it for a Christmas present for grandson. When opened it did not work, Bought 3 sets of batteries to make sure it wasn't battery. It wasn't I would like a refund please!

The ptoduct was completely broken whrn it arrived it doesnt light up it fiesnt extend i am extremily dissapointed
