Nice, travel umbrella. It measures 13” when closed (Would fit in a larger purse). The diameter when opened is 38”. Easily enough room for two adults. I love the handle. It’s sleek looking and has a comfort grip. The opening/closing mechanism is powerful. The pole is very strong as sturdy. It is a little tough to push the canopy back down to the handle (the canopy closes with the button but you have to push it down to get it to the travel size). This may present problems for someone with limited strength or a small child. The fabric is thin, though, it held up fine in moderate rain. I haven’t tested in high winds yet (as we haven’t had any) so I will update review when I am able to test. All in all, not a bad little umbrella to keep for sudden rain.

This is a well constructed device which provides excellent value as this very low price point. It comes with a protective cover which is easily removed.A touch of the up arrow on the handle vigorously opens the umbrella. A firm press on the down arrow activates an equally powerful internal spring which promptly closes the umbrella. The handle collapses into its storage size and requires some effort.The only problem was the difficulty in neatly rolling up the closed umbrella and securing the velcro closure. Also it was virtually impossible to replace the protective on the umbrella after the first use.Finally this is a good size umbrella once extended and appears to be durbable.

This heavy duty well put together umbrella is amazing!!! It’s thick enough to give this Phoenician (Phoenix,AZ) shade to walk around with and stay cool! The sun will no longer beam on my head/face as I walk around or attend any events. What’s really cool is that you just simply click the up button and it pops right up! Then press the down and you fold it up, Velcro it and store it in its bag that it comes with. I can tell it will definitely survive our nasty windy rainy monsoon weather that comes in July/August! It’s that tough! It’s perfect size to cover my body. I can’t express how much of a convience this black umbrella really is!!! My husband and I both fit under it too :) definitely a plus for the two of us! I’d suggest getting one for all seasons.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Honest disclosure: The vendor offered this to me in trade for an honest review.- Feels sturdy- Handle is gorgeous- Could pop an eye out, it expands with thunderous force! :)- Pressing the button again will retract the embrella- Pushing the pole back into the retracted position takes a little more force than you first expect, but I’m hopeful this is simply an incidator of quality.

Great umbrella I already have one in every color except brown and I paid $20 for them. When I saw the brown for $6 I jumped on it. These are the best umbrella's I've had my other ones for years they hold up in high winds and heavy rain. Excellent quality. I thought I lost one and I was frantic and very upset about it that's how good these are. Thank goodness I found it. If you want a really good sturdy umbrella buy this you will love it, Just don't lose it.

I never have an umbrella when I actually need it (for rainy days), so decided to be prepared.It's been really hot this season so I decided to take it with me while on my college campus and it's so convenient and gives really good shade.It's automatic and extremely sturdy.Which I need because we get strong winds here as well as heavy rains.It's a little bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

I ordered two. Delivery was prompt with Amazon Prime. One now used once was very good. The other once opened would close but not retract. This is a real problem when sending it back as you need a box the length of the fully open umbrella. A refund or new one needs to be given for a defective product. Obviously I am being honest here as I kept one of the two. I just it hope it lasts in Florida now entering the rainy season.
