Perfect replacement for my 2009 Samsung remote
The remote for my 2009 Samsung was problematic. Just a pain to use as the response was iffy at times or just not working. I think the buttons just got pushed too many times. This new remote worked right from the start. I am very pleased. I did make sure that the part numbers matched up before ordering.

Works amazingly!

No Programming Needed
All you do is install batteries and it's good to go.

Impressive quality for price, but lighter build makes it feel cheap
It worked perfectly, and it was far less expensive than Samsung was asking for a branded remote that was basically identical. It does weigh a good deal less than the Samsung original remote, which just feels odd after you were used to it being heavier. I've said it makes it feel cheap, which is true, however I can't guarantee that the remote is of any lower quality than the original, or make any statement on comparison of longevity.Unfortunately the TV died not long after I replaced the remote (perhaps the original remote having broken was an indication that the entire package was at the end of its lifespan...) so I'm ever happier I didn't shell out the extra $ for the branded version.It apparently lights up. I never tried that feature so can't speak to how bright or reliable, etc.

Worked right away
The remote worked right away after putting in the batteries (not provided). No need to program or anything. It replaced the original Samsung remote at a fraction of the cost. This one is very light and flimsy feeling, but as long as it works I don’t think it’s big deal.
