Best so far, creative solution, only minor complaints
Frustrated looking for a sleep mask that actually blocks out all light? While these masks are THE BEST of half a dozen I've used over the years, and worthy of a five stars, i'm still hoping there are better masks out there. This can't be that hard can it?PROS/CONS...Pros- Adjustable eye cups are genius. If one position doesn't work, rotate them around using the Velcro backing.- Mostly comfortable material under most conditions. (but not perfect for side sleep)- Head strap lets you secure the mask firmly.- Quality materials and construction.Cons- Light blocking? By morning the cups don't have the same light blocking level. Either the cups have moved slightly against the velcro holding it in place or it's ridden around my head somehow. Perhaps I just need to tighten the strap more. It's happened consistently.- Not so comfortable for side-sleeping. The mask cushioning is raised more than other masks so when you rest your head on a pillow, while sleeping on your side, you feel it against your temples. I find I have to put my head on the edge of the pillow to avoid this as it does affect my ability to nod off. If slight pressure against the side of your eyes doesn't bother you, then these masks will work great.Unfortunately this category of products is prone to problems with customer satisfaction because people's noses, faces, and heads are shaped differently and people's sleep needs vary. But this mask addresses that at least by letting you adjust how it fits on your face. Very smart.

If you're a side sleeper, don't bother
I sleep on my side and was looking for an eye mask when I found this one. The 3D design made a lot of sense and the sleek design looked looked like they might work well for a side sleeper. They have a wide adjustable headband that keeps them from shifting while you sleep...provided that you sleep on your back. The 3D eye cups fit over your eyes like a pair of welders goggles and are extremely uncomfortable if you sleep on your side. If the 3D feature was built into the sleep mask and doughnut eye wells eliminated, this mask could have been a winner.

Great so far
I have tried a couple different sleep masks, and have been using this one for a few days now. So far I like it the best, for a couple of reasons:1. The back strap is wide and secured with Velcro. The very first sleep mask I tried was just a flimsy black cover with a thin, elastic strap. That strap started cutting into the skin above my ear, and within 3 nights my skin was rubbed raw and it hurt too much to wear that mask. This sleep mask sits over the ears and doesn't slip between them and my ears, so in that regard it has been very comfortable.2. Good material. The mask appears to be good quality and the material is not sleek and shiny. The second mask I had tried was made from silk, which made it nice and lightweight but it would slide off almost immediately. This mask stays on all night, in my experience. The back strap can sometimes start to slide up, depending on how I secure if before going to bed, but so far it has been working very well. The silk material would also absorb all the face lotion I put on at night, and would get pretty gross within a few weeks. This material hasn't really done that yet, and it seems like it would be easier to clean if it does end up getting dirty.3. The eye cups. I wasn't sure about these things at first, and it did take me a few nights to get used to them (I sleep on my side, and you WILL feel them in that position) but they are very nice for blocking out light (pretty much 100% blackout) and keeping pressure off my eyes, which my other masks did not do. Overall, the slight discomfort of feeling the eye padding around my eye when i sleep on my side is nothing compared to the awful pressure the other two masks would put against my eyes themselves. Now, the problem I have had with Velcro masks in the past is that the Velcro wears out and loses its "stickiness" within 4-5 months, and the material around the Velcro gets all shredded and awful looking. I don't know if this mask will do the same thing. The material itself seems more durable than other masks that I've tried so I am hopeful that this will hold up better. I'm optimistic so far, but only time will tell.

Not for everyday sleep but travel sleep
Not worth $20 dollars but they are ok. I hate that the description says silk but there was nothing silk about these. They hurt my eyelid after wearing for 3 nights.

Keeps the light out
Great eye mask! I need something substantial as those flimsy ones always show light under the nose area. This one kept the darkness in and was very comfortable. I'm sure I looked like an idiot on the plane though but I SLEPT so who's the real loser?

Unique but it works!
I took a chance in this to replace another sleep mask I bought on Amazon. I will only buy a sleep mask that covers all or a portion of my ears. My previous mask did, however the silk materials in my other mask started to pull and fall apart.Upon receiving the mask was pleased to see that the mask covered a portion of my ears while wearing the mask even though it was not thick it was still material covering the esrs I also liked the fact that you could move the eye cups around on the velcro. Being a side sleeper I was concerned that this might not be comfortable but after getting myself situated I found it no issues to sleep on my side or stomach wearing this mask.I think the only downside and is why I gave the product for stars instead of 5 is because the eye cups are a little bit stiff but then again they have to be to provide comfort to relieve pressure off the eyes. I wish I cup material was more of a memory foam then that of a speaker headphone spongy material. All in all I think the mask was worth the price

Great quality, comfortable, and actually blocks out light.
I've used many different kinds of masks over the years. This type with the customized eye cup placement is the very best at blocking light. Its comfortable, not hot, has not stretched in the past month and a half of daily use. Pretty deep eye pockets, most people's eye lashes will be able to blink without touching, mine do a bit but I have crazy long eyelashes
