I have a 1998 car that still has ashtrays and no cupholders - and the curved cover of the passenger airbag where older cars had a flat shelf, so nowhere to put a drink down. I initially bought this so I could stand a drink from a take-away in it while driving home. But, perhaps oddly, my 95 year old mother has become very fond of me taking her to a Greggs in a petrol station (her idea, not mine) to then eat in the car parked outside on a Saturday, and this holder is both great for carrying the coffees and food from the counter to the car (the one time I forgot it and used a tray instead, I managed to spill half a latte down the front of my shirt getting into the car), and happens to sit exactly and securely between the two of its feet at the back on the front corners of the seats and the slot at the front round the gear selector. Can't sit it there when driving, but parked it gives me four secure cup-holders - great. Also, every time I put it on the counter in the Greggs, the staff and the other customers always admire it and wish they had one!

So much easier carrying coffee’s/cocktails/beers with this wee thing. Thumb bits help and drinks are secure. Bought for at home when I had surgery on my elbow and it really helped. Was so good I bought one for at work and several of us use it.

Have to say, this was pretty convenient, great if you carry more than 1 mugs from kitchen to living room, particularly in where I live, there is a small set of steps towards it.

The media could not be loaded.  I have no cup holder in my van. Now I can store up to 4 cups!! Only issue as that it is designed for mugs, so the holes are big, but hasn't caused me a problem
