Great product some work involved
Love these mirrors I had to wire the turn signals the running lights and the heater wires in but it was pretty simple I found one glitch in the system though on the passenger side wiring harness there was some slight resistance on the heater wire when I tested it and it caused the lights to shut off when that wire had power but when that wire was not “hot” the lights function like they are supposed to if you need to know how to wire the lights in watch this video and it will help https://youtu.be/ieRJQ2tzn88 but DO NOT follow his wiring diagram it is for another brand of tow mirrors the wiring harness for these mirrors is : Tow mirrors wiring harnessesSee from the direction wire put in1. grey wire,Heater Positive 2. black wire(light and heater negative) 3. white wire(turn signal light, light positive, light turn on when turn left or right)< top bulb>4. yellow wire(electric motor, adjust glass up or down) 5. green wire(electric motor, common head) 6. red wire(electric motor, adjust glass left or right) 7. blue wire(driving light ,light positive. Light on when driving)< bottom bulb>On my 2000 f-350 super duty Lariat super cab long bed 7.3L turbo diesel the left turn signal wire is located behind the fuse panel under the steering column and I was green with a white stripe and the right turn signal wire was located right next to it and it is white with a blue stripe, the running light wire is solid brown located behind the light switch panel itself as for the heaters you have to run your own wires to a switch and the black ground on the mirror wiring harness you have to self tap it to the door all in all a great product you just have about an hour of work if you have to wire them up yourself.

Great product for the price but you need to do some work.
The media could not be loaded. Did the upgrade for my 2002 F250 7.3.On the mirrors there was two alignment tabs that I had to cut off. The mirror would not sit flush until they are removed.I followed instructions from Zane. Only on both of my mirrors the blue and white wire were switched. When I got my wiring done the blinker lights came on when I turn on the cab lights. The cab lights turned on when I turn on the blinker. So I just switched the placement for the white and blue wires at the mirror connection. All the lights even the red turning arrows and motors worked.See from the direction wire put in1. grey wire,Heater Positive 2. black/white stripe wire(light and heater negative) 3. blue wire(turn signal light, light positive, light turn on when turn left or right)4. yellow wire(electric motor, adjust glass up or down) 5. green wire(electric motor, common head) 6. red wire(electric motor, adjust glass left or right) 7. white wire(driving light ,light positive. Light on when driving)

You may need to switch some wires
Mirrors are a big improvement to the oem but like I said had to switch some wires to make them work right. Installed on an early 03 F250 lariat, if your blinker and running light are wrong switch the blue and white wires on the mirror harness found that easiest for me. Would have given five stars but got no help from seller when contacted.

Great mirrors, but...
DON'T CUT YOUR WIRES! For a cleaner, neater install just move the factory pin inside the connector. To do that, pull the little red lock from inside the connector using needle nose pliars. Then you can release the pins by gently pushing aside the little plastic locking tab, then slide the wire out from behind. Put the pin wherever and lock them in place with the red locking tab.Another tip: you can rob the extra connectors this comes with if you need to run wire for running lights. Use the same method as above, but cut the wire. Solder it to your parking light wire you've run through the door. These mirrors are very nice, but the glass does have a slight warp around the edges, which is more noticeable on one than the other. That leads me to believe they're just inconsistently flat. They are very hard to fold, though they seem to get a little easier if you do it several times. Made me very nervous the first time I did it. The plastic isn't perfectly smooth, and the seam catches a lip, creating a popping sound when folding. For the price, though, I'm pretty happy.

Great mirror upgrade
Bought these for my 2006 F350 and I'm loving them. Mine don't have any issues with the glass being distorted or loose. As others have stated, I did have to cut off a couple of spacers, and also had to swap the blue and white wires on both mirrors for the blinkers to work correctly.

Quality product, slightly involved install.
Great product. After installation it looks like a factory mirror and maintains the feeling of a quality product. Great product.During the installation I had to switch the white and the blue wires because the running light was swapped with the blinker. Easy fix, pull the wedge in the connector and release the pin with a pick and then slide the wedge back in. Then on my 2006 F350 I had to trim a bit of plastic off the mounting surface. The trimmed area was raised plastic that was part of the molding and under the foam. It kept the mirror from mounting flush. I used a small hacksaw blade.Installed in a little over an hour.Love the tinted lenses and the turn signal mirror. No complaints with quality.

Easy install, great fit, glass quality questionable
I replaced flapper mirrors on a 2002 ford excursion. The only required modification was to trim a small plastic tab off the inside of the mirror mount that the truck had no clearence hole for. Once installed the mirrors work as they should blinkers, heat, and remote adjustment. Fitment was great with no gaps. Packaging was incredibley sturdy and came with a wiring adapter if applicable. My only complaint is that the glass itself is not flat. When you look at the mirrors they have a little bit of a fun house mirror apperance. Objects in the mirror are slightly deformed. I assume that this glass is slightly mis shaped or just thin. Im going to live with it as these mirrors cost a fraction of what a factory ford set cost. But if this is something that would bother you, you might want to consider biting the bullet on the OE ford mirrors.
