This review is for Artisan shoppe series IV pack of 3 small brushes. 3/0These are SO good for the detail work I do.I paint small ACEO cards of different subjects. Landscapes, animals, flowers etc that require me to paint in small details. Acrylic, oil, watercolor. I paint in different mediums and have used the brush for each medium.An ACEO card is the size of a sports trading card. 2.5x3.5 inches.So that gives you an idea how small.I have used many detail brushes over the past couple of years since I started painting. And I have always been looking for a better detail brush. The perfect detail brush. It has been a mission and I've spent quite a bit of money. I've even tried to fashion my own detail brush by cutting bristles off another brush but that didn't quite work. SO these brushes are the best I've found so far for what I'm wanting. These work great for me. I'm even buying an extra pack just so I have extra and to last me a while.The tip of the brush is a fine tip and keeps its point when wet and loaded with paint.It paints smoothly gives enough flex to paint a straight line.I have not had one bristle fall out! The handle is very comfortable. I have never used a brush with this shape handle before but decided to try it and I'm glad I did. It helps to have a better grip. I also have arthritis in my fingers and so that extra width in the brush helps to me grip better.I have not tried every miniature detail brush out there so there maybe better ones out there I don't know.But like I've said I've tried many different ones and I think these are going to be my favorite detail brush for some time to come. I'm very happy with these.And guess what. This is a sincere, genuine review. I have not been paid or given a discount or anything for this review.It is not often that I write a review but when I do it's because I feel strongly about the product. And as an artist I know how frustrating it can be to find the right tool to help us create our artwork.

I do a lot of miniature painting. I've spent big bucks importing authentic sable hair brushes from world renown brands from Europe. Every brush disappointed me until I found these. They just work for me. And they actually last nearly as long as non-synthetics.These brushes are incredibly underrated, GET THEM!

I found these brushes very easy to use with minis. They hold up Well and fit my big hand nicely.

Great for tiny detail work. Comfortable handle but recommend take breaks. Clean brushes after each use. I used water base paint.

I do A LOT of paint by number, the more complex, the better. I absolutely love that I can buy these brushes in the one size I use the most without having to buy a whole variety pack. They also hold out well, I normally go through 2 or 3 4/0 brushes per painting, but I just finished one painting using 1 brush, and am still using the same brush for the new painting (though I'll have to get a new one soon), these are worth it, the grip is awesome too.

These brushes are a very nice quality, and really super fine tips. I’ll probably buy the next size up - it’s just nice to have a variety. I use these to touch up mandala paintings.

These are great little brushes - very fine point. They get the job done.

Bought these for some cheapy brushes for basecoating and metallic paints. The attached model was painted entire using them. They're about what you'd expect if you've shopped around for brushes. Nothing fancy and you'll get as much out of them as you're willing to put in. Good for starting off or if you're looking for brushes to abuse.

I use these brushes for my paint by numbers paintings. They are excellent quality and are perfect for my needs.

These brushes made the difference from providing a very poor job to a great detailed job. The small brush heads enabled the application for the fine detail to the 35th scale models. I recommend this brand of brushes.
