I am new to the guitar world and I am trying to learn jazz guitar. My instructor recommended Don Latarski's Chord Orbit book, and I was hooked. I decided to purchase his Jazz Chords book and was not disappointed.While essentially the same information as the chord orbits book, this book changes the format and includes more jazz voicings. The chords are organized in an intuitive manner and there is enough to keep a new guitarist busy for a long time.Don Latarski makes learning guitar easy and methodical. I am looking forward to purchasing his scales book, as well.

I have been playing the guitar for over 40 years, mostly folk, country, blues and rock. Recently, I decided to finally get serious about it and learn how to play jazz guitar. I got the kindle edition of this book, which is nice because I can easily see the pages on the big screen of my PC. It has enough material to kick start your jazz guitar playing and teach you the most important chord forms and progressions. A very good book for those wishing to start learning, how to play jazz guitar.

I have been impressed with this Jazz chord book. it's straight forward and the ideas and instruction are easy to understand and if practiced regularly, result in learning the material. But that's what most instruction books require.I bought the kindle addition and am completely satisfied with it. Get it, use as outlined and play better Jazz Guitar.

This was exactly the book I was looking for! This is a no nonsense and straight forward guide to the most practical chords used in jazz and blues. The lay out is clear and logical with many useful examples. I was so impressed with this book that I have ordered others from Don Latarski's informative collection. This is a great book. It starts you right off learning essential jazz chords and has you working towards learning to substitute. This is a good book and I wish I had it years ago.

This book is well laid out. I especially appreciate that the chord diagrams, in addition to showing the fingering, also show the scale degree for each note. I purchased and recommend the CD for this book, however you won't find it via the address listed inside the book. You can contact author via his website at <...> and order it directly from him.

Very good product

I bought this jazz chord book so that I could play the rhythm comps in the Jazz Real Book. I also ordered the CD directly from Mr. Latarski's web site. It is a fantastic resource, and it has introduced me to many more from this author.

Good book, purchased from Amazon. I wanted to improve my chord knowledge, and found the lessons were easily understood. I do however highly recommend it for students approaching the intermediate level.

Needed this to get better and better. Different voicings for chord progressions make it all worth while for subtlety when playing my music.
