Excellent on my Bluesound Node 2i
The stock cable is quite good on the Bluesound Node 2i but I wanted to try aftermarket cables.I tried some of my very high quality power cables with a c7 adapter but found this Audioquest to work the best of all. Why would a $200 power cable beat a couple of $4000 power cables? I don't know, but perhaps it was because there was no adapter in the mix.Going back and forth between the stock cable and the Audioquest showed that the stock cable, while well balanced, was outdone by the Audioquest NRG-Z2 in areas of bass (more and more detailed), density of sound, depth of soundstage, and overall musicality. The Node 2i was connected via coaxial cable into the Marantz SA-10 which went into the Marantz PM-10 and on to Harbeth 40.2 speakers.Update 2020: I still like the Audioquest NRG-Z2 but over time I found it too rolled off on the high end. This power cable gives enormous depth to the sound but the density and bass seems to be at the expense of the high end and detail on the Node 2i, in my system. But I'd still recommend it for an audition if that description seems like it might match your system. I ended up replacing the NRG-Z2 in my system.

An expensive power cord
Well built power cord, superior to stock supplied cord i.e., mac mini. Expensive.

Probably, the best 2-prong power cable out there
I put NRG-1 on my Apple TV 4K and saw a “burst” of dynamic range improvement. Not so sure of sound (too many other variables there), but that color improvement can only be attributed to the Audioquest NRG-1. I’m a budget-audiophile who, after many many years, finally achieved the system I really like. NRG-Z2 is the ultimate cable at Audioquest for a 2-prong power cable (no ground). It has red copper which, when I can, I will be sure to include as a requisite specification in Audioquest components, if price is not prohibitive.Whatever the NRG-1 was doing, the NRG-Z2 takes it to the Nth level. I believe that there is only so much improvement one component can bring to a system, before you’ll need to consider other system components. A home theater is built on multiple components working in synergy to optimize performance. The NRG-Z2 is the highest power cable Audioquest makes for a 2-prong device, so I feel I can’t go any higher in the Audioquest line for a 2-prong device. However, if Apple continues to specify Apple TV’s with a 2-prong power cable, I’ll not need to look any further.

Audioquest Cables Great. Item Likely Used
I’m no longer new to the audio world & have used more Audioquest gear than most. The top of the box were tape would be was sliced open & the cable didn’t look as fresh as they normally look. I’m considering returning on principle alone. Seller for me was Audio Advice.. Cable functions as intended so far. As for the cable, Audioquest cables always improve things especially if your setups groundwork has already been solidified.

Worked Better As a Subwoofer Cable
I used this to power my Audioengine A2+ powered desktop speakers. It had some impact over the NRG-Y2 I was using before. Mostly it created more sound stage, but then I replaced the NRG-Z2 with a Kimber Kable PK14 Ascent power cable and the change was drastic. So I moved the NRG-Z2 over to the Audioengine S8 powered subwoofer, which had a far MORE drastic impact on the bass over the NRG-Y2 it was using. So, one thing is for certain. The NRG-Z2 will push a subwoofer to be tighter and less "flabby." To explain those terms, the woofer has to move to create bass. If the bass is tight, that means the woofer has the power and clarity of signal to move quickly so you get a good hit or thump before the actual bass wave hits. If it is flabby, then the woofer isn't getting a very clear or powerful signal and the woofer moves slower. It creates the bass wave, but the sound isn't identifiable.

Amazing Apple TV Picture Improvement
I replaced the stock cable that comes an Apple TV 4K and the difference was simply amazing. The colors were more vibrant and the black blacker. I watched same show on HBO Max that I watched the night before and I could not believe how much better it looked. My wife asked what I changed as the picture was stunning in a scene. She didn’t believe it was just a power cord. I’m a believer now.

A noticable difference.
Have heard the advantages of power cables before. Was surprised when adding this to my RME ADI2 DAC. slightly more depth and bass. Also blackground was better. Wasn't sure if I would hear a difference, but after some A/B testing there was a slight increase in dynamics as well. The difference is not huge(night and day), but its enough to notice. Very happy with cable. Would reccomend.
