Delivered on time… Very Impressed… Opens oysters easily… Good tool… The handle is large and fits the hand for a solid grip. The rubber handle material prevents slipping even under the wet conditions I experience outdoors. I love the short blade as it provides good control when I open my oysters. The blade is impressive as it has a mirror finish and I have opened many oysters and it doesn’t even have a scratch. The hand guard is nice as it protects from injury. Very high quality!

For steamed oysters partially open this is OK. But for oysters with the shell closed the point is not sharp enough to easily dig into the hinge and pry them open.
